A1A parking lot Buchanan hollywood

I parked at this lot to visit and walk the Hollywood beach boardwalk. When I parked the meter located in the lot said it was out of order and of course the attendant sitting there was nowhere to be seen. Kind of odd how that works. There’s signs all around the lot stating you can pay via app by typing in the number on the sign and purchasing your time that way. I purchased 3 hours for $12. When I came back my car was gone. Now the attendant is setting in a chair and asked him showing him my phone with time still left. He said that’s for this road not for the lot. We had to walk over 3 miles to the tow lot and pay $167 to get our car back. They were towing every car there pretty much or putting those boots on the vehicles. Looks like the lot and tow company owned by the same person so they’re making all kinds of $$$ by getting $75 a boot or $167 for towing expenses.

Everyone STAY AWAY FROM THIS PARKING lot on Buchanan street in between hotels. it looks like a regular parking lot with a meter but it's a scam lot: the meter is impossible to read, and the ticket you get after paying is also impossible to read. You put it on your car and there's an attendant sitting who waits for it to expire and immediately BOOTS YOUR VEHICLE. When we got back to our car there were about 10 vehicles in the lot already booted. They charge $75 to unboot the car. The towing company is same owner as the parking lot. THIS IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO SCAM FAMILIES COMING TO HAVE A NICE DAY AT THE BEACH. Rotten company, they should lose their license to do business. SHAME ON YOU.
UPDATE: a few days later the same credit card we used to pay the boot removal was FRAUDULENTLY USED ONLINE! THE SCAM CONTINUES! Stay away!
