Awesome place to eat! I stopped in to have some breakfast and was extremely impressed with the vibe of this place and the flavors of the two items I tried (French toast and biscuits and gravy). Everything was cooked with love. Rusty, my server was super welcoming and delightful. This is the kind of place you can't miss out on trying.

This is a small diner. The service was wonderful! I had homemade corned beef hash! It was great! They had made cinnamon rolls as a daily special. We took them to go. They were amazing!

Loved this little place the other day for breakfast. We had great service and the food was hot and fresh. Can't wait to go back when we are in the area again. Get there early as lines form outside and you may have to wait on a table. Enjoy!

Stopped back in for my birthday last month with friends and enjoyed our breakfast omelet's. Great place and good food!

From Once I walked in the staff was really attentive and provided world-class customer service they made sure we were taking care of from start to finish I ordered the country fried steak with hash browns eggs and toast and it reminded me of how my mom would make food like that for us just homemade and delicious and you can tell they took their time putting love into every bite. Highly recommend it! 10/10!

Wonderful hidden mom & pop spot in Venice. The waitresses were so kind and attentive. Waffles were delicious, fresh fruit.
Try the cinnamon bun you won’t be disappointed. Very small inside so just be aware of close seating. Would definitely return!

Food was really great. I'd rank in the top three places we ate at during our trip to Venice Beach. Food comes out quick, and I feel that the servers are very on top of things. I'd highly recommend ordering the French toast to share.

Awesome little place Rusty was the owner and she was also very nice. Went over all the specials with us. She greeted every customer that came in. The place had a nostalgic seaside feel. Lots of little things to look at while you dine. My favorite was the coffee sign I posted. FYI they did that flatiron steak right including seasoning it after it was cooked. A lot of folks miss that when it comes to steak.

Goodness in a small space. There's only 36 seats in the place. First time ever, but there are a lot of regular. We had to sign the wait list at the door, waited about 5 minutes. Most of that time we chatted w/ a gentleman who had walked from church. He got a ride back w/ two young ladies. A group came in who the long time server introduced the new owner. Wednesday's special was potato pancakes, I wonder if that is the influence of the new owner. Food was good, had a New Jersey influence, I got the Taylor Ham sandwich which was legit.

We stumbled onto this delightful little diner and loved it. Only open for breakfast and lunch, the chef is able to focus on making everything from scratch with fresh ingredients! Chicken parm sandwich was not the usual blah version we have had in larger restaurants, well seasoned crust on the substantial slice of chicken breast topped by tasty sauce and cheese that was not rubbery. The Reuben was perfect with not a bit of fat or gristle. Fresh baked cinnamon roll was the special of the day. We took one home to share... deeelicious!

Loved this café. Definitely operated with quality and care.

The ladies running this place are the best. Coffee is great, and the treats are the best.

We are still sitting at our table as I write this review. Last night I asked around where we are staying and found this spot on Google. This place is great!! It’s in a small plaza and has 11 tables. It’s quaint and has a nice small town/beach vibe. The servers (2) were very nice and friendly. The owner came around to check on all the tables, he too is nice. The food is excellent! I ordered the Homemade Cornbeef Hash Skillet with a short stack. The food is fresh, made to order. My wife had raisin bread French toast and eggs. Everything was delicious! Such a nice place for breakfast! The coffee is pretty good, Black Gold Coffee Roasters. If/when we come back to Venice, FL this place will be on the list to come to!

Flapjacks Cafe is a delightful gem with a charming atmosphere, incredible menu and lovely service. Their diverse selection of delectable dishes caters to all tastes.

Oh my gosh! This place was such a hit! We ordered more than we could eat but we sure managed to finish every bite. Everything was delicious! It was all perfect. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend. So excited to come back next time I come to visit. Staff was so generous, kind, and attentive. We went before they closed and owners came and sat with us and kept us company. Super personable! Absolutely loved it! ❤

Great atmosphere, good service, and incredible food. Especially if you like north east staples like scrapple and Taylor ham.

Breakfast was very good along with the service. The place is a little small, but portions are good.

We were in town for a sports event and the ladies welcomed us in even though it was close to closing time. Kids loved their food and mom and dad were happy too! Very friendly service. Chicken salad amazing!

This place is so delicious. My cousin Bella came here all the time for the biscuits and gravy before she passed away. I’m visiting from Ohio and had to try it. No regrets!
