Sharky's On the Pier

My friends and I decided to visit Sharky's for a late lunch/early dinner and it was an absolutely delightful experience! We didn't have a reservation, but the wait was quite reasonable - we were seated within 30 minutes despite the place being quite busy.

The menu selection was impressive and everything we ordered was delicious. We all shared calamari, onion rings, and a unique dish of shrimp on top of nachos, which was a hit amongst us. We also enjoyed the classic fish and chips and the ahi tuna, both of which were cooked to perfection.

The service at Sharky's was commendable; our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. But what truly sets this place apart is its ambiance – the restaurant is located right on the beach near the pier, offering breathtaking views that enhanced our dining experience significantly.

Overall, our visit to Sharky's was wonderful. I would definitely go again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food with a view. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Sharky's is a must-visit for an unforgettable meal by the gulf.

Only had to wait 20 minutes to get a table.
Loved eating lunch outside under the umbrella. Ordered a rice bowl with crab cake. Looked like a small serving but turned out to be enough lunch. I also enjoyed the piña colada which was a great addition to my meal. Service was friendly. A fun experience!

The seafood nachos were amazing, and were loaded with crab and shrimp. Good size for 3 to 4 people. The frozen drinks were refreshing. The atmosphere adds a lot of value. A great place to take in the sunset. There was live music, so it made for a nice and fun night out!.

Perfect! We were greeted by two friendly, efficient hostesses and waited 30 minutes for a table... which was reasonable to us. Our waitress was outstanding, cheerful...offered suggestions and let us take our time. We felt like valued patrons!!! (Looking forward to another visit, it was a chilly, windy February evening!)

I loved this restaurant 😍 I would go again without a doubt. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area but it's a nice place to visit when you are at Venice, FL.

I visited this place with my friends for January 1st. We arrived around noon and it was not very crowded. It started to get crowded around 2 PM. Perhaps cuz people woke up late after the New Year's party? 🥳 🤷🏻‍♀

The food was very good 👍 I order an order of fish taco 🌮 with rice. The rice was a cold and sweet dish for my surprise, but I enjoyed it a lot since I like sweet flavors 😉

The service was very friendly and the best of the place was the view of the beach 🏖

After our meal we walked on the pier which is just some steps away. It was a wonderful way to start 2024 😁 🥂

Absolutely loved it. You must stop if you're in Venice beach. They have great food and awesome views of the sunset. Great place to catch a drink and some food if you're out on the beach or just want to stop in and eat at the bar and listen to Live music highly recommended.

Partner and I had a wonderful time dining inside this time. It was a little cool and windy outside for us. Our server Alexandra was delightful! It's definitely a place you don't want to miss.

The view at Sharky’s is unbeatable at sunset— the pier, decorations, and beach create a lovely atmosphere. The spicy shrimp wrap is amazing and the mud pie was a yummy treat

Food drinks sunsets and music

A very beautiful place with lots of decorations and colors. There's lots of various seating options including inside, inside, outside and inside. Pigeons that were causing a disturbance around our table but other than that the food was good and service was great. We took a walk out on the pier after lunch.

I made a reservation for a party of 9 and they took excellent care of us. We had an excellent view on the top deck patio and we All loved our yummy meals and drinks. The owner stopped by the table to ask if we were pleased, so that was great too. We'll be coming back soon. The place was a packed house, but well worth it.

This was my first time eating at Sharky's and it was really good! Also, the view could not be beat! They brought out some pumpkin bread to start. Then I had the Clam Chowder (so many clams!), shared some Onion Rings, and had the Black Bean Burger. My friends had the Fish and Chips and Lobster Roll. We all really liked the food, except my one friend found some bones in the fish and chips. But atleast you know the fish was real and fresh! All in all I would visit again when I'm in town to shark teeth hunt.

Came to Venice for the weekend to do shark tooth hunting. Both days we came to Sharky's for lunch. Joel was our server, and the service we received from him was absolutely incredible. Definitely some of the best service I've ever received. The food was incredible as well. We ordered the Apple and Bri Pizza appetizer (sounds weird but it's delicious), the blackened Grouper sandwich, and the nachos. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food with a nice view of the water.

Love, love this place. We usually get fish or burgers. The last time I was there I got the scallop dish. I inhaled it! What’s not to like about Sharky’s. Beach front, fantastic food, and the best frozen drinks. One of my favorite places!!!

First of all the waitress was amazing! The lobster stuffed flounder was really good! The Sriracha chicken sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! It wasn't even super spicy and it had really great flavor! Hands down I recommend these two dishes and this restaurant in general! 10/10

Easy free access to the beach, pier and Sharkys! Ashley did an amazing job suggesting and serving. Offered plenty of options, very knowledgeable and friendly. She did a great job! Food was great and great atmosphere! We will be back. Thank you!

Everything was very good. The portion sizes were excellent. We even got samples of their famous drink to help us decide which one we wanted.

Love the scenic Gulf of Mexico waterfront restaurants, bar, and Pier. Beautiful place to sit down for a fantastic meal. The food is very good.

Beachside restaurant. Very busy on a Wednesday. Had a 40 minute wait, so had time to walk to end of Venice Pier. Fun environment. Bonus that food was really good as well as service. Would definite return when back in Venice!

I don’t give 5 stars very often but EVERY visit has been perfect! We stopped today for lunch. I had peel ‘n eat shrimp and husband had Ko-Tao salad. Fresh and delish!!

You can choose indoor or outdoor dining. It’s even acceptable to dine in your swimsuits. Fun bar with lots of beachy drinks to choose from. Just an overall great beach restaurant and bar!

I enjoyed my meal and atmosphere. We went out on the pier. Had a great time at Sharky's. I would call this a tourist attraction but it was great. Plenty of parking and valet. I was impress because I saw a sign where they offer benefits to their workers. Food was good and service was good.
