Guyton Elementary School

I went to Guyton in kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 4th, and 5th, and I have loved going there all those years. I excelled all those years in a great pace and environment of learning. I surely do recommend your child going to guyton.

I like it but don't like it because I have bullies

I used to go to this school till I moved away and I was bullied for 5 yeard straight without the school doing anything. I told the teachers, principal, counselor, etc but all they said was, "We'll deal with it" and they never did anything. Although I love the few friends I had there, I hate the school and staff (except for the art, music, and gym teachers and my fifth grade teachers)

My daughter went to this school for a year and a half as a kindergartner. Her time there was terrible! She was bullied not only by class mates but school staff as well. Her teacher did not send home a weekly update for us to know what was going on in the classroom every week nor did I know when her exploratories where! I would often ask and be told the same thing over and over I had no clue how to help my child what so ever!!! We had to pay for every little thing that took place. Easter, water day, Christmas, everything! Her teacher made a complaint often about how she was not doing her work but come to find out it wasn't being explained! Her teacher did not make the effort to really help her at all! Since moving I have seen a difference in my child with in less then a month! She has excelled in everything in all subjects and is all around a happier different child! This is not a school I recommend for any child to attended as it needs a lot of work to become what a school should be! Please do not move to effingham county at any cost unless you have the chance to send your child to Sandhill!

This school is horrible.....so many kids get bullied and nobody does anything. I hear stories of the things my child sees going on in front of teachers. They need to be investigated.
