Curtis has always treated me fairly.
Obviously, Some things are very hard to quote over the phone without actually seeing them. But I have shopped his prices over the years. But I have a fleet Of vans and I wouldn't trust them with anybody but Curtis. I know for a fact that they have saved me personally thousands upon thousands of dollars working on all of my vehicles. The shop might not look like much, but it's got it where it counts. And he still races cars, so he does it because he still likes doing it.

Curtis will probably never read this but he is the best mechanic around. He has always treated me fair and I have been going there the last 15 years.

Received a leveling kit and new tires, already mounted. Called Friday morning and they could fit me in if I brought in the car in the next month. Bring it in, get an immediate quote. Curtis and team get to work. Calls me an hour later saying that the lug nuts from my OEM tires won't fit. Curtis goes the extra mile, calls around, and finds lug nuts that will work. Great, quick service and going the extra mile with the customer. Would recommend to anyone!

First and foremost, I want to start by saying I've interacted with a great deal of mechanics and have a negative bias sometimes towards mechanics. Are they being honest? Are they trying to milk me for all I have? As cynical as I can be, Curtis Townsend has gained my trust. My car was in bad shape, to the brink of death. Curtis went through everything he saw and explained why my car wasn't a lost cause. Based on our conversation, and what my options were, I decided I could trust this guy.

Normally, in my experiences, and based on the damage I create with vehicles, I fully expected to wait at least a week. Curtis had it done in a day. The parts I needed were accessible and he didn't have to guess; he just knew, so there were no guessing games over the right parts. I have an old car, I know how it goes sometimes.

The car now runs smoothly as though no damage even occurred and is safe to drive.

Curtis worked within my budget and didn't try to surprise me with anything. I know how when a job starts something unexpected always pops up. That wasn't my experience here.

Great place everyone here treats you well and doesn’t mimic price. Mr. Townsend is a good example of being your in town mechanic who you can take your truck problems to and get them fixed at a very affordable price, and right. This place definitely has my business as long as I’m in these neck of woods.
