Milly Mod: a Zoë Stylez salon

I had been going to Zoe for my haircuts and color since around 2006. I was excited for her when she made the move to NYC to chase her dreams in 2012. I watched her do work for Fashion Week, magazines, runway shows, and run her own business--the things she accomplished were amazing. Meanwhile, I could never find a stylist locally that could do half as well with my hair as she did. I was thrilled to learn Milly Mod was opening in the area. It's a clean, bright, spacious salon...and Zoe and Kelly are so kind and welcoming. Zoe is a true artist--if you have a particular idea or style in mind, she can make it happen no doubt. On the other hand, if you're not entirely sure what you want, she is an awesome visionary who can consult with you by asking specific questions to achieve something you will love. She also knows what will work best with certain hair textures and face shapes, and won't steer you in the wrong direction (she's prevented me from making a few mistakes over the years! ) We now have an NYC-level talented artist here in our own backyard--don't waste the opportunity! I have never, and I mean never, been disappointed with my results.

I am so happy to have found Zoe! I made an appointment with her because I have been feeling down about my appearance at 32 weeks pregnant and wanted to change things up a little. She took so much time before the appointment to figure out exactly what I wanted and help me figure out the best plan of action to get there. I have never been so happy with a haircut/color! I feel 1000 x’s more beautiful after an afternoon with her.

I went to see Zoë because I was undecided on what I wanted to do with my hair and I knew I had dead ends. Thankfully, she was able to help me come up with a plan! I love that she talks you though the whole process and gives you tips on what to use to help your hair as well. I walked out with 2 follow up appointments booked that same day because I knew I was where I needed to be for my hair. The whole salon is super clean and the staff is awesome. Kelly is super kind and will help you book appointments and find the products recommended if you can't find them. It was affordable and I love that its based off time and not just process! If you haven't tried their services (for everyone) then you should. I could go on forever about how nice they are and how they do an amazing job...but you NEED to see it for yourself for sure!

I've been going to Zoë for over 3 years and I can always count on a few things when I go to see her: (1) I will walk out of her studio looking and feeling like a glamorous goddess because she is talented AF. (2) I will have the BEST time because she is the most compassionate, uplifting, and bubbly person you will ever meet. (3) I will leave with some new pro tip for doing a better job styling my own hair at home.

If you are on the fence about whether or not you should book in with Zoë, just do it. You will not regret it! If I could give 10 stars I would.

I started going here earlier this year and I've been really happy with how we've been shaping my hair as I grow it out for the first time ever! Zoe gives fantastic tips on how to style and take care of my hair and I've gotten great compliments about it :)

My experience here was amazing. For my whole life I've always just gone to cheap hair stylists or barbers, and I decided to give Milly Mod a try because the reviews were great. Let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed! The price was higher than I was used to, but you get what you pay for. The level of quality and professionalism exceeded all expectations. On top of the haircut and hair styling, they thoroughly explained what they were doing and walked me through how to continue to take care of my hair. I am trans, and they treated me with the respect and kindness that I expect from a company. They worked with me to find a hairstyle that not only fits the style I was aiming for, but also vibes well with how my hair naturally grows. They just recently moved closer to Atlanta, and if I hadn't moved across the country, I would 100% have made the drive to get my hair done there.
