Awesome place easy and interesting with a lot of information provided on little boards. Walk to the visitor center is a little steep but the view is very rewording. Good place to take your dog for a walk. A lot of shade and plenty of wildlife.

The Copper Furnance hiking trail can be accessed from the Cooper Furnace Day Use area which is open from March 1 thru November 30th at no charge. The address for the day use park is 1052 Old River Road SE, Cartersville, GA 30121. The trail is also accessible year round from the trail head across the street from this address: 1101 GA Highway Spur 20, Cartersville, GA 30121. The trail is well maintained with connecting trails.

Beautiful and easily accessible. Very quiet and easy access to the lake. Picnic area with a pavilion. Great for family or office get togethers.

Love, love, love! This park is the best, a nice sweeping river with rocks to swim in and cool off in the Xtra cold water out of the Damm at allatoona lake, no swimming during generating hours, danger! Plenty of parking and lots of covered picnic tables with grills

Great place to plan a family pic nic and venture the trails and see some history. Also the dam is pretty cool to look at. Listen for the alarm because they release water and the river starts to rise and has a swift current

Great place for a great hike in nature. Take the easy trail or take the 1 mile trip from the finance to the top of the dam. There are lots of trip notes and places to sight see and rest. Absolutely beautiful views. Leave nothing, take nothing!!!!!! Keep Georgia Beautiful ❤❤❤

This is a nice place to go for some quick hiking. There are some skinny trails, and there are also some of the wider trails that have gravel and what not. Decently hilly, but nothing extreme by far. I just did the two small 'loops' on the Southwest corner, and I only passed one other person the whole time. I'm planning on going back and connecting with the Pine Mountain portion. I wouldn't wear flat soled shoes, or sandals - but otherwise this is a novice hike. There are very clean bathrooms and picnic areas by the parking lot on the Southwest corner of this hike.

One of my favorite places to visit. The trails are almost better than the river view. Being able to view the dam is also a perk.

We managed to walk from trailhead to the furnace with two toddlers with light rain and it was tons of fun. There are a few cool little Bridges that our boys took interest to and it was overall very peaceful.

How can you give God's creation any less than five stars? We walked from Cooper's furnace to the top of Pine Mountain. It was a really tough hike. It was 5.4 miles up and back which doesn't sound like much. But it is a rather steep climb at points.

Nice trail, really a trail and not a sidewalk through the woods. Good mix of climbing and descending. Nice views at several points.
