Cut Above

We took my 5 year old granddaughter to have her first haircut yesterday. Olivia did the service and she was great 👍 My granddaughter was a little nervous before the visit but when we left I asked her how it was and she said it was awesome. We will definitely be returning here.

April does an amazing job. She is an excellent colorist and my blonde hair always looks natural and pretty.

If you’re looking for a stylist that can do it all then Rio is your girl! I’ve put her through the ringer with wanting super blonde hair all the way to vibrant pink and she never disappoints. She’s all super kind to me and always makes my hair look beautiful and healthy. Rio fan girl for life!

Richard Kearney is amazing with color and cuts! My daughter and I have used him for years. She has a lot of crazy colors and he always comes through on her ideas. He did a spider web for her

Staff is always friendly. Verna is fantastic! She always does a great job on my hair and cares about her clients. The owner speaks to everyone who comes in.

Verna took great care of me despite me giving her vague instructions on the haircut I wanted. Everyone at the salon is welcoming and you can see why they're successful. They all seem to work together and take care of whoever walks through the door.

I love Missy! She has been my hairstylist, and I even introduced my sister to Missy. Missy is now her hairstylist as well. I experiment with my hair all the time with perms, haircuts, different hair colors, and Missy hasn’t ever let me down. She can do it all :) Getting your hair done with her is also very affordable, and it doesn’t cause your wallet to cry after getting your hair done. I won’t ever cheat on Missy and go to a different hair salon and neither should you!

If you are looking for high end salon quality for a reasonable price, "Cut Above" is worth your time! Courtney cut my hair for the first time today and I have no complaints! Highly recommend this place if you're in the Carterville, GA area!

I love this place! April is my hair stylist, and she is great! She always does exactly what I want, and even gives me pointers if she’s something that might not be so flattering. In the world of “hair” I think you get what you pay for, so I don’t mind paying the price (which isn’t that bad, in my opinion anyway) to get what I want done by a professional. The atmosphere at this salon is super laid back, and I love that too!

Great quality mens cuts, all the time!

Allie did an amazing job. I had grown out my hair so I could try a specific cut. And inverted medium length bob and Allie got it exactly right. She listened to what I wanted, looked at the pictures I brought and made sure I was ok as she cut about 8 inches from the back of my hair :) She did such a great job that my mom went and saw her later that afternoon and was thrilled with her haircut that was also EXACTLY what she asked for. As a side note, the front desk girls were less than professional, a little snobby and didn't seem to actually do anything there but sit and talk to each other. But once passed the front desk all was good. My wait was a little long, but that was because the front desk didn't tell her I had arrived. Prices are great and very competitive. However, don't plan to buy products. They are priced by the different stylists selling them and overpriced. I'm an early thirties work at home mom who wants cutting edge style without much fuss and stylist who'll show me how easy it can be to recreate it at home. Overall, I'm glad I've found a new stylist to go to.

Have been disappointed by many barbers and salons in the area and made an appointment here expecting the same fate. However, Donny did an absolutely amazing job. He provided small talk, was swift, and accurate with what I wanted done.

I have never been disappointed with any cut/color I have received from any of the stylists I visited - but my best results were with Katrina and Brittany. Great skill in what they do. Love this salon & the prices are extremely fair. Only grievance I have is that the reception station is not always "manned" and sometimes the phone doesn't get answered and you have to leave a message. Oh well, still great service.
