Modern Sports Restaurant

One of our favorite local places. The hamburgers are perfect. They are huge. Not sure I could actually fit the triple. But you can tell from the burger that it is hand made.

Too many places have perfect circles, with perfect uniform thickness in their burgers (aka frozen). Not here.

We have also gotten the shrimp po boy here on many occasion, and it is excellent.

The service is always top notch, and the beer selection is great.

We really enjoyed our lunch this past Friday at Modern Sports Restaurant. They had all the sports covered with the numerous TV's, that were located throughout the building. The food and atmosphere were excellent and the beer was good. We will be returning to try the chicken fingers and fish and chips. I will add photos the next time I visit.

Typical sports bar menu and atmosphere - ordered six different items and all were well prepared and tasted great. Service was outstanding.

Kristen and Sabrina at the bar were awesome! Finished a long week of traveling basketball and needed a local spot to take the edge off. Wings were super too. If your stopping through or need that local joint feeling, this is the place!

If I could give this 10 stars I would. I don’t give reviews often, but felt I had to! We had a party of about 25 coming back from a baseball game. Farrin (spelling?) was the only bartender/waitress working. She was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She let us rearrange tables. She knew exactly how to take our orders by boys’ numbers, she was fast, attentive, kind, and everything was accurate. Food came out amazingly quick for having such a big party and no staff. The locals at the bar were so nice, giving us recommendations, having conversations with us. Food was good but service was even better. Great (and numerous) selection of beers on tap! I can’t say how happy we are that we found this place! And to the owner - you struck gold with Farrin!

First time in with a buddy of mine, and the beer selection is by far the most expensive in Cartersville, including Bourbon barrel and Scotch. they even offer multiple sizes per beer which is fantastic. We had a combo sampler platter which hit the spot and help soak up the alcohol. Highly recommend, start going here, it's new and I hope it's around for a long time!

Huge wings. Cold draft and great service. Its my go to when coming off the lake or to watch the Dawgs play.

Hands down, one of the best places to get wings! The staff was great and the food options were plentiful and fair priced! This is definitely a hidden secret that doesn’t need to stay hidden! Highly recommend!

We’re traveling for baseball & stumbled upon this gem. Don’t let the location/exterior fool you! Exceptional service even when they were slammed. ROCKIN food! Great selection of beer! Skip the chains & go local!

This is a nice little locall spot to get a great burger, cheese steak nachos, and even a good pizza. The waitstaff is really great and friendly. Nothing too fancy here, just great food and service.

We went there for lunch yesterday had a fantastic experience. It's been one of my favorites in town since it opened.
Even though they were clearly understaffed, you wouldn't have known it The bartender/server was really working hard to make sure everyone was well taken care of And she did a remarkable job.
The food was expedited well and everything we got was perfect.
I'm sure they don't hear it enough but we appreciate your hard work. Thank you.

Got take-out that was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick and efficient. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered through UE tonight and the food was excellent! The portions were the perfect size! It is hard to get good food through delivery, however, this restaurant surpasses all others I have ordered from.

The restaurant was very clean. I enjoyed all the TV’s and the food was great. My wife and I both had burgers which were very good. My wife had the best Mac and Cheese as her side and I enjoyed the zucchini fries. We had the potato skins for appetizer and these were also amazing. The service was excellent and we will be back!!!

Modern eggs Benedict is wonderful. The wait staff is always on top of your drinks and making sure you are taken care of. Jamie and Farrin are the best.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was incredible, but the best part of our vist, was the staff. I can't say enough about how welcomeing and attentive the waitresses and the Manager were. Vanna was amazing! My husband and I will definitely be back, and look forward to making this a regular stop!
