One of the best places I visited while in Georgia!! It's perfect for canoeing, kayaking, picnics, hikes, etc. . . Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful Park. I plan to return.

Excellent series of trails for Red Top Mountain State Park launch from this lovely visitors center. And be sure to enjoy the lake views and all Alltoona has to offer when there. Now go outside and get some fresh air!

Found Iron Hill Trail!! Much easier than the hiking trail with all the roots and rocks on the trail. Such a great place to be on a 🌞 day!! 😎

A beautiful new building. A lovely park, lake, and historical features as well.Nice easy trails too. Restrooms as well. And safe parking too.

Wow is this place a hub of activity!!! This visitor center has most everything including a retail gift shop, camping check-in, conference rooms, outdoor classrooms and administrative office spaces. Not far away is a trading post, a lodge (with restaurant I believe), cabins, camping and boat ramps. Boat rentals are also nearby.

Love the visitor center at Red Top Mountain. They have cold drinks, snacks, stickers, shirts, and picnic tables. It is not lodging anymore after being struck by lightning, but the event/conference area is still there.
Hours are 8am-5pm Sun-Sat.
