The Avenue Home Cooking Café

Best place in the Cedartown/ Rockmart area to eat if you love great home cooked type meals.
Just like mom use to make on Sundays for lunch after church.
But what I love more about this place is Christian atmosphere they show.
They treat you like you are family.
Then to top it off..........
Their fried chicken breast are the greatest.
You don't know what you are missing if you haven't ate there.
The wait time is not bad either.
On a 1 to 10 scale with 10 being the best, I give them an 11.

Went there for my first time and it did not disappoint. Food was incredible, people were nice, and the price was great. Definitely will go again!

Following a taxing quest for a reliable work vehicle that ultimately proved futile, my father and I chanced upon this charming eatery that served as a consolation prize of sorts. The portion control left something to be desired but we were thoroughly impressed with the flavorsome menu items nonetheless. It's safe to say we won't hesitate to fabricate another excuse to venture out of our way for another taste bud tango with these masterful chefs in the future!

Very good food and service. It was very crowded, but that's another way to tell? This was my first visit!

I can’t speak for all their dishes, but the food we ordered was all great home cooking quality. We look forward to coming back to try some of their other offerings in the future!

Picked up some food for my parents but it was my first time trying anything and I give it a full 5 star bc it was soooo good. I ordered a BBQ plate and it was one of the best BBQ I have ever eaten, I spent about $35 on 3 plates so it was well worth it definitely will bring my husband and kids next time!!

I wished that there were more places to eat in Cedartown that serves vegetables. The Avenue should not salt their food when cooking. Always find that is way too salty. Disappointed again!

Food was very good giving reason for the large crowd on Sunday. I still got right on and the service was friendly and spot on. I had a meat and 2 sides, plus a cheesecake. They give you a sheet to pick your meat, sides and desert. I asked for half and half tea and it was perfect. A lot of places mess up my tea request.

This was a unique place and the food was good. I've never seen an eatery that brought you strips of paper with what they are serving and you circled what you wanted, put your name at the top and that's how you ordered. The only thing I didn't like was if you circled a dessert they brought it out at the same time and my strawberry shortcake was a little soggy, otherwise all went great and will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

The avenue is a 10/10, 5 stars, top notch, all of the above. I never much cared for home style southern cooking at restaurants, however the Avenue does an amazing job and i have had probably 10 of their main dishes repeatedly and i have never been dissatisfied or even had one single complaint. Its a great place to get you some meatloaf, country Fried steak, or any other types of Southern cooking with sides like Mac and cheese, green beans, lots of other peas and beans, and just a great selection don't miss out.

I mean the menu changers frequently so that ensures fresh and new options! I love it! The good food is awesome and the staff is stellar!!
