White Oak Library

This place was recently renovated and it looks wonderful. Story time for the kids is very fun and educational. They also have a excellent selection of books for all ages.

Thank you Chris for going the extra mile to help me with the computers and my library card. Not everyone who works here is helpful, one librarian guy with glasses was walking around and I asked him for help... but he said "why don't you ask someone at the desk." I asked if he worked there and he said yes with a blank stare. I had to dismiss him with no reaction.
I walked back to Chris with the same question. He gave me an answer but just to make sure, he got up and asked another librarian or manager for confirmation of his statement. What a big difference from the previous scenario.
We need more genuine people like Chris who truly cares about the community.

Cissie stopped what she was doing immediately as soon as I approached her. I said I was sorry to bother her and she quickly responded with "no, not at all."

Most people would finish what they were doing prior to addressing someone at the desk. And they would probably say "that's okay" if I apologized for interrupting them. But Cissie stopped what she was doing and assured me I was of no disturbance.
She resolved my issue promptly and I was good to go! Thank you for making my first time experience here special and shining light on the golden rule.

Great place with amazing helping people. Leila went out of her way to get me some books for my child and gave me all the information I needed.

Nice library. Well maintained. Quiet and computers are always available. Helpful library staff. Love this place.

The staff here is AMAZING! I've never encountered any issues, and on several occasions I've witnessed them demonstrate the utmost respect and patience with people who've had trouble scanning, finding items, figure out how to login to the computer.

It feels like a community here. My daughter and I most enjoy working on the 1000-piece puzzles that are put out.

I love it. Might not be the most aesthetic choice, but it's definitely warm and supportive.

Lovely library with very helpful staff.

White Oak Library has the friendliest staff ever. I come here most of the time to do my homework because I need a quiet study area. The place is clean, also it is handicapped friendly and they have a play area for kids. I recommend this place to everyone

The newly renovated White Oak library is our favorite in the county. The kids section is huge and mostly closed off so even little ones feel they can play and browse safely. I especially love the HUGE selection of cook books (an entire row, hundreds of cook books of all kinds, including chef biographies, tools and new ones from all over).

I love going to White Oak Library. The staff there are very friendly and I think it is because of the renovations as the library is much bigger and there is more room to sit and read and the wide assortment of books is fantastic.

Great place to get your youth cruiser card for Ride On buses. And yes this is serious.

Great public library, has planet of books. Dow stairs are meeting rooms. Aesthetic is pleasing and modern. Stairwell and Dow stairs is strangely similar to that of a government building. Hands Down cleanest library I've seen. Another notable feature is the pride section, a small bookshelf dedicated to lgbt books.

A warm, welcoming, quiet place to go. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The kids section is great. Definitely a nice place to curl up with a book.

Its like the internet in a location, but with fewer trolls and not as many pop ups. Most of the information I would ever need, in a lovely location with many comfy chairs.
