My go-to place. Vikki and Dan are fantastic bartenders that can make delicious cocktails – just say what you’re in the mood for and they’ll whip up something you’ll enjoy. Definitely try something from the expansive tinned fish selection if you want something to eat on the lighter side. Also, the Detroit-style pizza is quite good (and this is coming from someone raised in southeast Michigan).

We traveled from New Jersey for a concert and were looking for a bar to get dinner and drinks at before the show. I had looked at a few places online and went with this place based of the 5 star reviews and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar, where Dan waited on us. He is great at what he does and takes pride in his job. He gave us fantastic recommendations for both food and beverages based off of what we were looking for. Me and my boyfriend split the Burrata, which was to die for and we also split the It's not your Philly steak sandwich and tots with lemon basil aoili. Both which were very yummy and filling. We definitely recommend this place and hope to visit the next time we are in town.

This place is so fantastic! We gave the bartenders a basic description of what we were looking for (creamy, smoky, spicy... not all in one drink, haha), and they gave us some of the most amazing drinks ever. The spicy request led to a peach drink that actually tasted like I was drinking a fresh peach with a bit of a kick. And the creamy drink was the cocktail of my dreams. The patio seating is lovely, and the dogs were a welcome addition to our evening. Everything about this place is perfect.

The best spot in the area to get drinks and dinner. The staff here are some of the most personable and attentive i have encountered. They get excited to serve their guests. This spot also has turned me onto the tinned fish scene and i am hooked.

One of the best bars in the city hands down. Awesome drinks, friendly bartenders, and all of the neighbors in sowebo. If you like tin fish then it's a must for you! I'm talking gourmet sardines and squids and and and. And if you don't like fish, then I recommend the kielbasa platter all the way.

Great neighborhood bar with a chill and relaxed atmosphere. We were visiting from out of town for the Ravens game and found this spot and couldn’t have enjoyed it more, ended up going 3 times in 2 days. Special shout-out to our bartender Victoria who was super friendly and served us delicious cocktails. Can’t wait to go back when we’re in town again.

Fantastic Place with friendly staff. Food and cocktails are great. Definitely try their version of old fashion. Burrata is a good starter and the vegan version of the sausage platter is even better than the meaty version. Coming from Germany, the pretzel is ok.

Stopped by for lunch after a visit to the B&O Museum and it was the perfect place. The Detroit style pizza was everything we could have wished for. Thank you, Lara!

I visited for an event and The Back Yard was quite a cozy oasis eminently suitable for a date night. The regualr menu is promising and the apetizers are adventurous for sure! I look forward to some luxurios sampling in the near future!

Amazing little bar outside of Pig Town! Owners are amazing and very personable. They seriously made us feel at home! We will definitely be back!

The food here is EXCELLENT and very well-priced considering the quality. Our bartender Dan was very enjoyable and he gave us great neighborhood recommendations :) Will definitely be back!!

The owner (who has no son with poor server skills) makes a great lemonade from scratch. The Back Yard salad was great and the addition of the salmon was fantastic!

Great wine selection and wine Wednesday was worth it. Enjoyed the charcuterie plate. Nice gem in the neighborhood.

My husband and I had an amazing meal and fun conversation with the owners. The food was excellent, the taps were varied, generously poured and fresh, and the price was right. We had the Detroit style pizza, crab dip and a fancy tin of fish that was presented beautifully with a selection of good toasted bread and crackers! Everything was homemade and the portions were big. We’re from out of town and we’ll definitely be back next time we visit Baltimore, which is a great city with lots to see and do. If you’re in the neighborhood, you’re lucky to have a pub like the Back Yard nearby. If you’re visiting the B&O museum, it’s a must visit for a relaxed bite and/or beverage.

A small and cozy neighborhood bar, perfect for hanging out with a few friends. The bartenders are super personable. They're also very helpful with recommendations for food and drink. Speaking of which, the food here is delicious. I recommend their sandwiches and Detroit-style pizza.

Across from the B&O railroad museum, you’ll find a hidden gem of a bar. Physically, it’s small with a beautiful ornate wooden bar that has a well-curated selection of spirits.

The first time I went, I didn’t expect much from the food, but I was wrong. The food is delicious and they have some great vegetarian options.

The staff and owners are charming and helpful. Don’t forget to say hello to Franklin the dog.

All of that would be enough for me, but they also have a lovely back yard. Always, but especially these days, outdoor spaces to gather are a must!

Been twice already. Love the tinned fish and pizza. Woke up from a nap and decided we wanted to go back and so glad we did. Stop waiting and go get a great meal for a great price.

Had a blast at the pop-up shop. The owners are awesome. Great vibes, Excellent service.
