Pier 51 Seafood Restaurant & Oyster Bar

Went for my birthday dinner because I was craving Charbroiled oysters and these definitely did not disappoint. Being a Chef I can be admittedly picky and critical but cant say enough about the food we had. Fried Calamari and Charbroiled oyster appetizers were both delicious. The fried stuffed softshell crab was truly a treat and the Seafood gumbo was also good.

Wanted to try a bunch of different thing being it was our first time here and we couldve definitely went without 2/3s of what we ordered and been full because the portions are plenty substantial.

Prices were also a great bargain when you consider what fast food cost these days

Food was great, loved it. We had red beans and rice , gumbo seafood , jalapeño, hush puppies, crab soup and bread .

It was Great!! Great Food, Great Service, Friendly Folks and down right fresh food and it was Great!!! The Alligator was top Notch!!! Crawfish Corn Chowder! It was Great and look forward to going back again soon.

I had the chicken livers (appetizer) with the fried fish and shrimp combination plate. So delicious 👍

Doesn’t look like much from outside, but don’t let looks fool you. The staff was absolutely amazing (friendly, knowledgeable about their dishes). The food, Amazing!!!! I got the blackened redfish and also a 1/2 pound of the boiled shrimp. The shrimp were possible the best I’ve ever eaten! I’ll be dreaming about my meal for days it was so good! Portion sizes were excellent and pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend!

Food is delicious but the service is very slow so if you go make sure you have atleast 2 hours for your meal

Was just passing thru as an OTR trucker looking for some gator and good food since being in the area not a chain restaurant; and Google led us here. The food and service was A1, as for parking for a trucker it is usual u will not find any in their parking lot but we got lucky and found some next door.

AMAZING ! EXCELLENT FOOD,! WE HAD FRIED CATFISH AND SHRIMP LUNCH'S. GREAT SERVICE, CLEAN, AND ABSOLUTELY FOLLOWING COLVIC-19 REGULATIONS. REASONABLE PRICED AND FOOD SERVICE WAS FAST.

This a casual seafood restaurant where I have enjoyed consistent quality seafood. I love the broiled oysters, poor boys, and plates offering a wide variety of options, whether or not you want seafood. They also have great red beans and rice and spaghetti and meatballs.

Wonderful meal with outstanding flavor. Our server was on the spot and gave us great recommendations. Will be back!

The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff is very friendly and professional. We never had a bad meal or bad service. Best of all, they are open for dine-in, pick-up and curb delivery!

This definitely has a local, mom & pop vibe but all that means is the food is fresh and well made! I had the Pier Punch frozen drink and it was amazing. I got the fried crab fingers, which I’ve never had before and I must say I think I found a new favorite dish. Please give this place a try if you’re ever in the area

We stopped by there for dinner with the kids. I wanted a home-type Louisiana food to eat, we came across this place. We got calamari and the crab cream based soup for starters, the soup was amazing. Kids got the grilled cheese and fried shrimp, their portions were very good. I got the combo platter- fried shrimp and crab cake. I also added the red beans and salad. My husband got the fried shrimp with hush puppies and corn. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. The staff was amazing and very friendly, I loved having a conversation with them.. oh we also got ice cream and the pecan pie! Don’t let the outside fool you, the atmosphere is great and family friendly.
