Café Poupon

Very hype we found a place with a Marocchino in the states. We had one in Europe and have been hunting them ever since lol. Menu had a good variety and the food looked good as well. 12/10 would go again next time we’re in town.

I absolutely LOVE the pastries here! I pick up several to share with friends and neighbors frequently– everyone is so excited when they see Cafe Poupon's familiar label on the bag/boxes. The croissants and their pasty dough are perfectly buttery, not too sweet, and flaky/crispy (I think it's my favorite in the city so far).

The staff is always very sweet and works hard. The interior of the shop is cozy. The store might be easy to accidentally walk past, as it's a narrow storefront at 225 N Charles St, but it's worth peeking inside! there is limited indoor and outdoor seating in the cafe and patio, respectively, but if you want to bring a book you're able to order and relax for a little you should be able to find space.

Wonderful variety and quality of baked goods and pastries. Limited parking but it’s understandable. Will be back!

The spinach quiche was creamy, crunchy and delicious. The soup was scratch made and a grey healthy option. Coffee menu was impressive and the cortado was great. Friendly staff, quick service- all around good experience.

I love this place, the food, the service and the relaxing vibe. I just want them to be open later in the evening one night during the week and on Sunday mornings. They close at 3 and are not open at all on Sundays.
They would probably have a lot of locals and their guests coming for a Sunday cappuccino and breakfast or just Sunday goodies.
A hot chocolate after an evening walk in would be wonderful.😁 I haven't had their salads or sandwiches but they look so fresh. I bet they're delicious too.

A moment of luxury in a chaotic day. The pastries here are made in-house and regularly brought out while you stare through the displays trying to decide what to indulge in. Might I suggest a perfectly flaky and buttery croissant or pain au chocolate (which has two bars of chocolate through it, as it should)? If you're in a sweeter mood the kouign amann is slightly over sugared but delightfully crunchy and caramelized all the way down, and the Parisian drinking chocolate makes for a spoil-yourself-break from their rich drip illy coffee. Whatever your order, just make sure you take a moment to stay and enjoy it. With an old world feel, fantastic ads from another era, and large shoppe windows to perch next to, this is a place to relax while the mad world continues outside without you.

Cafe Poupon has always been my favorite choice for in-person coffee meetings downtown. Their coffee and baked goods are so yummy, and I've always enjoyed their lunch menu. Of course, with the changes brought about by Covid, things have shifted a bit; their menu is now a bit smaller, and they've stopped using those charming glassware. However, it's nice to see things gradually returning to normal.

The only cafe open all day on New Year's Eve. Croque monsieur was delicious. We came back here to work in the afternoon, and were given some extra macarons on the house! Such a nice spot and hope to return whenever we come back to Baltimore.

We order some yummy pastries and desserts for the office and they were really good. Nicely price and as soon as you walked in the place smells amazing. It had a nice atmosphere and it was very clean.

Very friendly staffs. Flowers on table are fresh. Good bakery desserts.

London Fog was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s. The salmon baguette was seriously next level delicious. The perfect embodiment of a cozy and comfortable coffe shop.

Everything we've gotten here is incredible. Highly, highly recommended.

If you want to xscape on your lunch break this is the place when you step inside you feel like you're somewhere else. I love it

Ordered a King Cake the morning of Mardi Gras - cake was ready that day for pick up and was DELICIOUS. Not super traditional - was basically like a pecan filled croissant with frosting, but man was it good.

Pricey - but you get what you pay for

Some of the best bread, pastries, and espresso in town. Espresso was remarkably smooth, and the tiramisu was the best I've had. Fully reccomend the whole grain sourdough baguette if they have it.

The BREAD!!! Hands down best baguette/ jambon-beurre in Baltimore!! Tomato soup was so good. And the patisserie was amazing too.

The cake was amazing from the first bite! Sweetness is not too much and the staffs are so favorable and kind as well. I want to have em again over the short haul.
