We have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Hood and his staff! He performed entropion surgery on our two goldens and did a wonderful job! Everyone is kind and friendly, and they do their jobs well. I will go no other place! Thank you so much for your great service!

I’ve been very pleased with every visit here with our English Bulldog. Most recently they got us in within 20 minutes of calling when we had a fishing lure accident and were quick to help get our girl out of pain!

Doc is one of the best. He listens and addresses each concern you have and he is very personable. My big fat headed pittie is the biggest baby when it comes to his nails and doc and his staff helped make the process a little easier! 10/10 recommend!!!

As soon as she did everyone that worked there ran to help, called 911 immediately, got blankets, cool rag, ice packs, and kept hold of my dogs while she came to.
They helped me help my daughter to car
They sent me out the door not worrying about the bill today, although I called and paid over the phone, they still told me to not worry about it now. Love these people!

I've taken my dogs there since 2001. They took care of JR for 14 years. The day he passed in the office, there was a soul in that building that wasn't crying. Bruce even had tears, . Now to me that's someone who loves what they do. And the animals they care for. Thank you all for being there for me and my babies

The best vet office I have ever been to! They have saved 2 of my pets lives and always treat us grand! I drive from Springfield to Bolivar just because of how great and honest they are. They truly care for your pet as if it was there own pet.

One of our chi pup jumped off the bed he broke his left front leg Dr hood and staff there are awesome the call every 2days to make sure schnapps is ok love this group

We have been established clients of Countryside for about 6 years now. We called Dr. Hood on a holiday weekend and left a message. they returned the call within 5 minutes to let us know that they would place the medication for our cat in the mailbox outside the clinic. We are so thankful to have a local vet that is avaliable for these emergencies.

Dr. Hood and his team are miracle workers. We brought in a very sick dog and really were unsure if he'd make it. The staff was extremely sensitive to our distress and at the same time tended to our little dog. Dr. Hood even checked on our dog after hours, on his day off, and gave us updates. Very clean and pleasant place. The services are high quality for a reasonable price. Highly recommend this veterinar. I have 3 cats that Bruce treated and when I get my first dog this is definitely the place were I want to be treated.
