The cashiers were super helpful and polite. I did have an issue with some pork that was dated *best freeze by 9/23* and I bought it today... so I need to return it. But thats the only issue I have ever had with them in the 2 years I've been shopping here.

Decent selections. Pretty cheap. Not bad.

I don’t normally shop at Save A lot, I went years ago and it was run down so I didn’t go back. I decided to go for tin foil and water bottles but ended up getting so much more. They have a great selection of food, it was clean, wonderful customer service and cost saving prices. This store is so much better under the new owners and management, I’ll definitely be going back.

Ok so this store surprised me. There is a new owner who did a great job re doing this store. There are a ton a fresh options, amazing ice cream flavors, great produce and awesome prices. I highly recommend you check out this location now, it's pretty great!

Don't go if you're depending on a very specific item or brand. But they have the basics and good finds at good prices. They also have hispanic groceries---dried chiles and spices and sometimes dairies.

This save a lot has turned into more of a specialty mart. Not a traditional save a lot or what it was when it first opened. It definitely caters to the area. It has a lot of Indian delicacies.
Store wasn't well maintained. One aisle had an entire shelf knocked over and you couldn't get down it. Definitely a safety hazard. Some fruits were rotten and others were on the way.
Meats were questionable And I went for safe items.
The young man who seemed to be alone in the store was working the register, was absolutely sweet.

Best grocery prices although getting more expensive every time I shop there. Off brands and house brands just as good (if not better) than name brands. Very narrow aisles. It's my "go to" grocery store when national name brands are not mandatory. Avoid bags of raw chicken parts marinated in vinegar...UGH!!!

This location has a fairly new employee named Mrs. Clark. She's an associate there and she's the best thing since fresh air in that place. She controls produce, dairy, and bakery. I've seen her do it all. She's very polite, professional and always makes time to address my concerns no matter how she may be overwhelmed from other customers. I love every experience I have when she's on staff. Great new addition save a lot!!!!!!

Save-a-Lot has good prices and good quality. They are a small grocery store compared to the other ones so they don't have as big of a selection. They do not carry as many items as some others. There is hardly ever any wait and the aisles are big and clutter free. Parking is easy and wide open.

I love this store! I go there about every 10 days or so. Always get everything I need.
I wish that this store would have more employees on hand so that the good, hardworking employees get their breaks. There are 2 employees at the Arbutus location who are very pleasant, & hardworking. Ramona & Thomas deserve to have more help. It’s neither fair nor safe for them to always be so short handed that they have to run between the register & floor putting up stock. Save-A-Lot needs to take better care of their GOOD employees so that they stay with the company

I really love going here. Whenever I shop here it's never crowded. My only issue (not really a issue), is that I wish they sold more bulk stuff.( I have alot of mouths to feed.) Easy to find stuff. Cheap.

This Sav A Lot is so convenient for us to pop into. They don't have everything you might need, so it isn't a full run for us, but you can get the basics here at a good price.

PLUS, and this just blew our minds, they now have an aisle of Indian specialty items. We love Indian food at our house and were OVER THE MOON to be able to get spices and lentils and basmati rice here so close to home.

Update: they've just added a whole sizeable Pakistani/Indian section with items like regional baked goods, ingredients, seasonings, and kits. It isn't quite an ethnic grocery store sized selection, but its WAY more than I would ever expect from such a small grocery. Pretty cool.

It's a save-a-lot, so mostly generic brands with a few random name brand things thrown in at the whim of market prices. They have decent selections of fresh meats and produce, though nowhere near the ridiculous assortment most grocery stores have now; I don't need all that though. As long as you don't expect more, it's a great store. Good lighting, well maintained, great prices, friendly staff, etc. The only real downside for me is their very small selection of pharmacy and personal care stuff. I have to go elsewhere for that.

This is the cleanest Save-a-lot I've ever been to. The selection is nice, the prices are outstanding, the porks steaks are perfect. I build my shopping list around the pork steaks. I shop here 2-3 times a month. If I lived closer I'd be there a few times a week for incidentals, milk bread eggs ice cream and oatmeal raisin cookies that are so good with a glass of milk when the shopping is done.

Small selection of produce, but all of it's fresh and includes most of what we eat anyway. Especially good prices on Fresh Express salad kits and bananas. Off-brand cereal is also good selection and really cheap. Milk is the *cheapest price anywhere* I've seen, really!

small store with all the basic necessities. great deals. not many brands or variety, but i understand why. what they do have to offer though is great and saves a lot! literally! by going here i discovered a few brands i've never seen before and now i'm big on them!

I love it there they have alot to choose from that other stores dont carry I will be back there for the holidays

My fav little market. It has mostly everything. Depending on the time of the day you visit there is little to no line. I suggest going early in the day or before the afternoon to evening rush. Theyre mostly always stocked with everything you need. You cannot beat their pricing especially with produce and meats. Go visit.. Tell them Marco sent ya! They wont know who or what youre even talking about. Hahahahaha.. Just keep smiling while saving alot.
