Victoria Gastro Pub

My friend and I went here on 03/23/2024, for a 6:30 reservation. We were seated right away. Our waiter name is Mike and he was the best. We later found out that he was just picking up a shift on the floor but he's mostly at the bar which made the experience better. He knew the menu and his recommendations were good. There was a slight mix up where the duck came with regular whipped potatoes instead of the sweet potatoes but he went and got the sweet potatoes on the side. The sweet potatoes are so good, I would come back again just for them. My friend surprised me for my birthday so I enjoyed the cake with the candles. The chocolate praline cake was really good and not overly sweet. I would come back to try their happy hour or their brunch menu. It was a truly great evening.

Note: I'm someone who doesn't like dark eating experiences or loud music, and the lighting was great here, and I was able to hear my friend with no issues. I don't even remember if music was playing, that's how good it was.

I’m a little late in this one. We were in Baltimore visiting our son and on the last day we went to Victoria Gastro Pub for brunch. (The interior lighting is ORANGE, so the pics aren’t that great, but the food was CRAZY GOOD. Our waitress was super nice and we never had to wait for her to stop by the table to check on us.

I had the Shrimp & Grit Cakes. (Our waitress said it was most popular). I’m not gonna lie, it was the best shrimp and grits cake I’ve ever had! The lighting is not good for pictures; it’s not good for visually understanding what’s on your plate either.
That being said, I didn’t leave anything on my plate

I stopped by for happy hour with some co-workers! Their service was excellent as always! I got 2 glasses of Cabernet and left. I smelled those delicious duck fat fries from afar and knew it was time to leave

I had a good time last night. The staff was fantastic. I met the chef who created the Kandy kakes dessert and the tarts which was on the restaurant week menu. His name was Milan. He is such a sweet young man. So much talent at that young age and humble. I had the Cobb salad it was much bigger than expected I ended up taking half of it home. Last time I came was for brunch.

Our service was absolutely wonderful!! The Angus burgers out of this world. It was a little pricey but totally worth the potion size. The place was neat and tidy!! If I get back this way I'll def stop again!! Great experience

The highlight of Victoria Gastro Pub was the service for us! Our server proactively asked about our party's allergies and then ensured that all of the cooking was done with utensils that hadn't touched anything with our allergies, and each time they brought anything to us they told us that they had kept it safe for us. The food was delicious, and our server Mike was knowledgeable and friendly. The duck fat fries are a step above, and we enjoyed the Kandy Kakes for dessert. Will be back!

It's a bit pricey but honestly sooooo worth it! And I don't think it's any more expensive than other restaurants of the same quality and the service, outside seating area, and food quality make it worth a visit. My husband and I split the cheese plate starter and it was fantastic! I knew I would be too full for a whole meal so we decided to split the lobster grilled cheese and duck fat fries. Let me tell you, whoever came up with this combo is a genius!!!! And I was right, half an order was the right amount after eating the cheese. They also do brunch on weekends so we're thinking about visiting them again this Saturday.

Excellent brunch spot! You have to get the breakfast egg rolls-- they're to die for. Definitely a unique menu item that will keep me coming back. Great atmosphere inside as well and surprisingly not packed on a Sunday. Not sure if that was just my experience or the norm though

Always love coming here when I'm in the area. I used to frequent this place when I lived down there, and still go almost every time I'm back down. Brunch is my favorite, and the duck poutine is phenomenal.
Staff is always friendly and great too

We came here to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2023 dinner… but we end up not staying until the count down. Good ambience, food/ drink cost and staff are accommodating /friendly. We all love the drinks, jumbo coconut shrimp, the dessert & my other friend said that the pork chop entree is also great! Only complaint , the tables are just too close to each other.

Brunch on Sunday was very good. Seating was quick, service was well paced. Our server Rachael was very attentive and on the ball. The Brunch menu is well curated and has a small variety of options. The food was very good. I highly recommend Victoria for weekend brumch.

This place made me like my birthday again! I'd never heard of it, but when you put gastro in the name of a restaurant, it's got to be fantastic! We loved everything! The lobster grilled cheese, shrimp wonton, rib dip, fish and chips, and chicken on a stick - all above and beyond your expectations! Already planning our next visit and what to try! Do yourself a favor and go, enjoy a delicious meal, guaranteed! Almost forgot! Duck fat fries - lawd help me, fabulous!

Food and atmosphere are always amazing. Incredible rotating beer selection and I have never had a cocktail I didn't like. Lobster Mac and Cheese is a favorite and the mushroom burger is great even if you are not a vegetarian! One of the best restaurants in Columbia.

The lobster grilled cheese was really good. They have remoulade sauce on the menu, but it's just tartar so don't get anything you would really want that sauce for. Other than that I would recommend especially for a date.

Very delicious meal 5🌟’s. Was very pleased with everything at this restaurant. The food quality portions and flavors are very good here. I had The Pork Porterhouse which was very generous in size and seasoned throughout, paired with the Rum Apple Compote makes the flavors out of this world. Also the Apple Bread pudding is a must try. If you like this place also try its Parent company “Food Plenty” off 108 in Clarksville, MD both restaurant are must try’s you will not be disappointed.

Went to a holiday party here last night. It was fantastic! We shared lobster grilled cheese. I had the apple salad and my entree was the Thai chili salmon. It was very good. Lastly shared a few bites of a gluten free dessert that was also great! I will be back!

This place was great. It was a little warmer than most restaurants but the food, the waiter (Alex, I believe) and the atmosphere was really nice. Definitely will be going back, menu options look great!

Victoria's never dissapoints. Went on a Tuesday night, right after work. The bar was packed, maybe one available high table. We opted to sit in the restaurant were there were a few occupied tables. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. By the time we finished our meal, the restaurant had filled up. Food quality is great and portion sizes are what I recall pre-covid. Great beer and wine selection. Parking can be tricky. Victoria's has their own parking lot but during peak times, it can be difficult to find a spot. We didn't have an issue when we visited for Tuesday happy hour/dinner.

1st time visit this week (2/19/24)
a club group dinner. Service was excellent, as was the food. Tuna Carpaccio ( w/ nicoise salad) plus an added g-f toasted bun is worthy of a trip back to this restaurant - delicious & so fresh. Others enjoyed lobster sandwich w/ fries at my table. Highly recommended for service & food.
