Overall a good restaurant. The receptionist is a cute and Friendly girl and she described the dish clearly. Food was nice and neatly done. The restaurant is always kept clean and the restroom is quite neat

To all my truckers...if you want a taste of New Orleans without having to go into New Orleans, I definitely recommend stopping here. I stopped in to get a hot sausage on French with cheese, fully dressed, and some fries. Even though I like mine with stale French bread (day old), I can not knock fresh French bread either. Everything was hot and fresh. I wanted to eat the whole thing but I had to show some restraint and take half with me for later. I would have taken a picture of it, but I ate it too fast.

This place is exactly what it purports to be. A plain, simple environment, very clean with an easy ordering process, nice staff and great tasting food.

You choose your meal from a posted menu. The staff is very nice and eager to help you have a good experience, so they willingly answer questions and make suggestions. Once you place your order, you are given a number, you pay the cashier and choose a table. For drinks, you have a choice of bottled soft drinks or fountain drinks, which you grab before heading to a table.

Your number is called very soon after ordering and the most delicious food is ready for you to pick up. I had a large entree salad with 1/2 oysters and 1/2 shrimp. It came with dressing, captain wafers, and tarter or cocktail sauce. My friend ordered the 1/2 Oysters and 1/2 Shrimp platter. It came with toast, french fries and a small salad. Please note the salad are very basic with shredded lettuce and tomato, but cold and fresh tasting. My entree salad included cheese and boiled egg.

Everything was very good and temp appropriate. The shrimp on my salad (about 20 of them) were good. But my oysters were the best I have had in a very long time. Fat, juicy, steaming hot oysters with a light, crunchy well- seasoned batter. And they put about a dozen on my salad. My friend ordered a platter so she had even more shrimp and oysters than I did, with the same outcome - good shrimp and great oysters!

My lunch salad with drink was $17 and her platter with drink was $29. The people, service and food were all fantastic. We would go back - anytime.

The food is good and hot. People are very friendly. I am a truck driver, and there is enough room to pull right in front without blocking entrances. I usually get the fish or shrimp po boy with sweet corn nuggets. I am never disappointed. It's a little pricy but worth it.

We had a wonderful muffuletta for our 1st visit. It was so good & so big it was put into 2 dinner boxes. Man, oh man ! What a treat !

I'm born and raised in NOLA and I'm telling you this place has the best, bar none, roast po-boys in the country! I live in Denham now but If eat here everyday of I could.

Outstanding catfish, perfectly crisp and tender inside, very fresh and generous. Burger was excellent, fries too.

I had a friend in town who wanted a poboy at 6pm. Luckily they were still open.

As always, everything made fresh and service comes with a smile. So much food for the price. Just opened back up after Ida, so couldn't wait to place an order at one of St. John Parish's staple restaurants! Seafood muffaletta didn't disappoint.

We always stop by when we're back in town. Great food & service. Brandon, the owner, is always so nice!

Again i don’t know where to start the great customer service the helpful staff the great food this place is one in a million where you get way more than you pay for here i got a half ferdi poboy that was the size of most restaurants full size poboy over stacked with roast beef that was so flavorful and tender a seafood plate with so much seafood it was literally falling out the plate that the tap together the onion rings are very good as well thanks y’all 504Calvin

Holy cow I picked a winner here. This is a real locals joint but I managed to stumble on it back from our trip to Whitney Plantation.

Loved it all. Four of us ordered three sandwiches and a cheese burger. A whole muffleta is huge. I managed to get through a quarter of that, half a shrimp poboy and then start on the roast beef and ham. I was stuffed and we left with almost a whole sandwich. Great food and a great value. If I am in New Orleans again I'll be back.

I love this place and go every time I'm in LaPlace. I've yet to have anything bad there. And dude leaving a sorry review because he was not paying attention is his fault, not theirs. This place can get very busy during lunch and they have always been awesome.

The place was pretty busy, but I still got my food quickly. The girl who rang me out also let me know that there would be a short wait, which is always appreciated. The food was good, and everyone was friendly. Overall a great experience

Food is always good! Try my "special" sandwich I often order: Hot sausage patty add hot sausage links on French, dressed with pickles and extra cheese. You won't be able to eat for the rest of the day you'll be so full!!!
