I love Monarque. I’ve been a couple times now and have enjoyed it every time. The best time to go is when the show is happening, which I believe is around 10. Reservations are a must. With that said, it’s very busy in there around that time so service does tend to be a little slower. Still great food and drinks, I highly recommend the Duck Breast out of the Main Entrees.

My co-worker took me here for my birthday and I had the grandest time. Monarque isn’t just a restaurant, it is an experience. We had our coats checked at the front, and we were seated right at the stage. First we had mini sliced baguettes with a cream garlic spread which was chef’s kiss. I ate the Truffle roasted chicken which was absolutely delicious; it was seasoned to perfection and actually pretty big for half of chicken, I’m curious to see how big the whole chicken is lol. Because it was my birthday, I had a free dessert with a lit candle standing on my plate (it was so cute), the dessert was really great, it was ice cream wrapped around a fruit compote, topped with chocolate fudge. I will say it was too much chocolate poured to my liking, I would’ve asked for a lesser amount poured. Overall the food was great, the band was great, and the burlesque dancers were exquisite! I definitely recommend and will be back!

Exceeded my expectations this place was truly amazing I didn't even feel like I was in baltimore anymore. Food was excellent drinks aswell and the service was good. What u didn't like was a Manager came over to each table to ask how their food was and if they were ok but didn't come to ours I saw him come and look several times buy did not come. Of course we were african American and the majority of others 98% where Caucasian but it's expected we do know that racism still exists. Overall the place was a good experience. And worth visiting.

One of my best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time.

For context, a few months ago at another Atlas Restaurant a server served me food he deemed safe that actually had what I was allergic to in it. Forgot my epi-pen and had to leave immediately. It was my mom's birthday dinner. Prior to that, most Atlas restaurants we've visited have had alcohol and vinegar (my two severe allergens) in nearly everything where I only had the option of 1-2 menu items.

After this past experience, I finally called Atlas HQ and was directed to Roy Kelin who is the VP of Operations. Roy was incredible and handled the situation as well as one could possibly hope. He was not aware to the extent of limitations offered for allergy substitutions. He profusely apologized what happened at the last restaurant, gave me his personal cell so I could text him to make a reservation and he would personally call the kitchen to prep them, overhauled and re-evaluated all of the allergen policies at each restaurant and offered me a do-over meal at any Atlas restaurant of my choice, which was above and beyond what I was expecting!

I choose Monarque as my birthday dinner and his executive chef, Devin was incredible. He made me a french onion soup with an apple cider base and everything I wanted to my heart's content. Brought my parents and my friend and genuinely had the best time. Our server Liz was awesome and on top of it. Allergen safe food was marked with flowers. Entertainment was great and so was the service! I don't think our water glasses dipped below half full at any point. Some of the things we loved were the drinks, the seafood tower, table-side tartare, cote de bouef and genuinely every dessert!! They made me some kind of strawberries and cream ice cream and we had the crepe souffle and pots de creme. I felt like a celebrity that nobody knew all night--it was perfect!

Some of the best customer service I've ever received and I feel so grateful that Roy has put so much effort into not only enhancing the dining experience at Atlas for me but for everyone with serious food allergies to have an equally matched experience. Forever grateful for Roy and Atlas' kindness to rectify the situation. Genuinely can't wait to come back and visit more Atlas restaurants.

Every visit to Monarque, the food is great!! The "show" is entertaining and the drinks are really good. The seafood tower is deliciously fresh. The only downside are the tables being way too close.

We made a last minute reservation for 930 pm on a Saturday, but wanted to see the performances before they ended at 11, so we came early around 815. We checked-in and waited in the bar area. We were about to get seats and enjoy the performances over drinks and actually had a better view of the stage than when we got a table for dinner. We got the text that our table was ready a few minutes before our reservation. It was our first time here, and our server was very friendly and helpful. The gnocchi was amazing as a starter, but I didn't think it was worth the cost. The bread that's brought to every table was fantastic, and I highly recommend listening to all of the reviews and getting corn pudding for the table. Paying a little more for dry aged beef was beyond worth it. We also had mac and cheese as a side, which could be shared between 2-3 people. Overall a wonderful and unique dining experience. We can't wait to come back again. Just make sure you book in advance and have realistic expectations with seating - it's a busy and popular restaurant for a reason. Get there early, and if you have to wait past your reservation for a table, just enjoy being in such a memorable atmosphere. Also, make sure you check the performance schedule to help you select what night you want to make a reservation for.

Been here about 7 or 8 times. I might have even written a review already but I figured I would do another one.

This is an awesome spot. For a celebration, date night, treat yourself, or simply to get away for the evening. Go on a Friday or Saturday night to see some amazing performances and embrace the atmosphere. Most folks are very open to chatting and mingling at the bar and that area.

The food is pricey yes, but pretty much always worth it. Honestly if you ask me roasted duck with fries for $40 really isn’t that bad given the quality and atmosphere. Go in to dine with the expectation that it will be a classier meal and you won’t be disappointed.

The bar is awesome, lots of lovely bartenders like Louis and Michael who have an arsenal of drinks and suggestions. Anything you want, they got.

I have very little to complain about regarding this establishment. Would love to review the full menu but for now I’ll try one thing at a time.

Party of 10. Very pleased with the ambiance & energy even though there was a sub act for fathers day so children could come and eat. The food was not salted (except the bred and cheese spread), but overall good. I thought the rockfish portion was small. The flavor was good. My favorite dish was the lobster and asparagus hot appetizer. Delicious!

Happy hour menu is amazing. Was significantly less crowded than Tagliata bar as well. They even had live music at that time which was a huge plus. Escargot was tasty and different than I had tried before (it had vegetables and other ingredients mixed in. Wine only $6.

Our waitress was excellent. The restaurant itself was really a fun environment. They had two acts perform while we were eating and that was cool. The dry aged NY strip was great.

I went here with my partner to celebrate his birthday, and we were absolutely Blown Away by the outstanding quality of the food, the attentive service, and the outstanding entertainment. A lovely local singer and artist played the piano and sang popular songs in a jazz style as we enjoyed our experience. The restaurant had a New Orleans style ambiance, with eclectic and upscale decorations. We will definitely be back for more experiences at this restaurant!

We went here last night for our anniversary and it was an all around amazing experience. We started out at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and the drinks were excellent. We were then sat at the very front of the stage and got to watch the performances up close. The performers were very entertaining, not too over the top and it still felt like an intimate dining experience. My husband and I have eaten at many Baltimore restaurants including many Atlas restaurants and this was probably the best meal we’ve had since we moved here 3 years ago. The Salmon and short rib dishes were delicious and the Mac and cheese side was some of the best we’ve had. The service was excellent too!

I agree with some of the others food is not on par with price, however the atmosphere definitely makes up for it and is why I still rate it 5 stars. That being said the food is good and better quality than all chain restaurants and lots of other restaurants. And my steak was cooked superb.

We reserved seating 8:15 on a Saturday and ended up coming 10 minutes earlier. We immediately were seated at a table in the front. It was super loud but it was fun. I had two cocktails which I dont typically like alcohol much (tho I try to drink it to find one's I like) and they were honestly the best I've ever had!

I got onion soup and the boyfriend got duck liver? And they were both yummy. Honestly if you don't order the french onion soup YOU ARE MISSING OUT. It's heavenly. For our entrees we got steak and rockfish. The rockfish was too little for the boyfriend but was still super tasty he said. He ended up having some of my steak. The wait time on the food was pretty long even watching the shows but it was pretty packed.

Finally about the shows, i loved every second. We were there Saturday so it was the Monarque after dark crew and boy let me tell you they really make the place a party. I would post the videos I captured but im not sure if its against etiquette so they'll be saved on my phoe besides on my peronal fb. We got the crew that was from 830-930.

My favorite stage was the Runaway Bruno Mars one and favorite performer was the black girl (sorry I don't remember the name and the block off performers I think was special for pride🏳‍🌈). They all killed it though so I wish I could name drop.

Went for my sister's birthday at 5 o'clock but the variety shows don't start until 7. Waiter was very helpful and attentive until it got busy then we had to flag him down to get the check. Variety show was very entertaining. My sister enjoyed her birthday. Food is pricey but worth it. Only thing I didn't like was the duck.

Fantastic restaurant. Food was great but a little disappointed with the salad lyonnaise. The egg is supposed to be poached NOT hard boiled. The entertainment was amazing. We had the greatest pleasure while dinning. CJ took very good care of us.

What a delicious elegant night at Monarque.

A little bit jazz club, little bit burlesque house, it's one outstanding dining experience.

It starts before you get in the door. As you approach the entrance something feels different.

As you check in for your reservation the feeling kicks in that this is next level Baltimore dining.

The dining room is beautiful, warm, elegant and is anchored by the stage. A jazz quartet was on stage playing us into our seats.

The attentive dining staff took the reins and with the help of the top notch bar crew and kitchen delivered a memorable dinner.

The food was served beautifully, as ordered and hot. Everything we ordered was not only delicious but beautifully plated. Highlights were the French Onion Soup & the Short Rib Bourgiugnon.

Drinks and wine were expertly prepared and served.

The live band took the night to another level and made this dinner feel special.

Each year for Christmas, instead of giving each other gifts my friends and I go out to dinner. I had the pleasure of selecting the venue this year. After reading the reviews for Monarque I knew we couldn’t go wrong with this place.
We had a group of 13 and everything we ordered from the cocktails to appetizers and entrees were absolutely amazing. The ingredients they use is so fresh and tasty. Their mouthwatering steaks were incredible…so much so that I had to take three photos of the Tomahawk Ribeye. The ambience and decor was calming and sophisticated. Hands down one of the best steakhouses we’ve experienced in the area.

There's gnocchi... And then there's GNOCCHI! First, let me start with the service... Spectacular from the time you walk in until the time you leave. I hate having to ask for more water. I hate trying to find a server. Listen... If you want good service, this is the place to go. Jet, was so amazing with her recommendations as well as her knowledge of the menu. Everyone that brought anything to the table were absolutely professional and I can tell they take price in the training they give their employees. The managers come around to make sure you're enjoying your meal, and why wouldn't you? The food is amazing. Now back to this gnocchi! Ok, all of our food was great! The drinks were outstanding... But this gnocchi was the best we've had... period. My roasted chicken was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese was also good. This is a great place to bring guest that come into town to visit you. It's great for a girl's night out. It's great for an anniversary setting. It's definitely a place that we will revisit. I highly recommend.

Our first visit here and it did not disappoint. What a great way to bring in my birthday. Beautiful ambience, delicious food and live entertainment. Not even sure how I never been to the place. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was a bit loud after a certain hour but it didn't bother us too much. The entertainment was short but beautifully done. They were engaging and it was a nice extra touch to such a beautiful restaurant. We will definitely visit again.
