Giant Food

It's definitely a huge improvement on the Shoppers that was there before. The footprint of the store looks about the same but, oh my, the look and feel is very different and way better. The place has been refreshed outside and very much on the inside. It feels fresh and clean and new and I love the Meat and Seafood counter. The Deli, Produce, Bakery all shine. I'm certain the other areas are just as great but I pretty much just shopped the periphery areas. I've been getting my Giant groceries by delivery but I might be doing more in-person shopping going forward!!

Linda J was SO helpful. She really went above and beyond helping me find the condiments I needed so I can start cooking. She was so sweet and pleasant to talk to. She didn’t give up until I had everything I needed. She is a blessing. I hope Linda is getting the respect and pay she deserves. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Linda!

I am so amazed how beautiful and colorful the flower arrangements are. Gina Balzano does a outstanding job at this Giant store.

I never thought I would be going out of my way to leave a review on a chain grocery store but here we are. This Giant has a surprising neighborhood feel. The employees are amazing and are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you or open extra lines to make sure you have no wait. Many of them seem to know the customers well and you will often find conversations amongst friends between the staff and customers. The selection is exceptional and as a vegetarian, this store rivals Wegmans in how many products they carry.

Shout out to Mark, the new deli trainee who may be the most friendly and polite person I’ve seen in a while. There’s so many more that I wish I caught their names because of how above and beyond they went.

Everytime I go to this location I have to remind myself that I am here for a few things not everything! Wide selections of food. The produce section reminds me of an organized farmers market. Their prices also will not leave you scraping change out of the cup holder😌 Hands down one of the best Giants I have ever been to.

I’m very glad there’s a new grocery store in this space. It’s easily located with a good sized parking lot. They have everything I need, plus some specialty items and don’t break the bank.

I'm thankful to have a newer, cleaner market near. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I love this place! First of all, the people working in there will drop everything to help you find what you are looking for. The shelves are stocked and I never have trouble finding things on my list. Check out time and people like Angela will walk you through self check out including figuring how to weight produce. This particular store location has just about everything of items that is needed. From various products such as discounted marked products for your budget. For I highly recommend Giant-Southside Market Place. As One of Many Supermarkets with great quality products.👸🏼🤳🌈❤🙏💯👍👍👍👍👍.

Great grocery store with a great floor layout and helpful and friendly employees

So far so good, the selections is what made me drive from Fells back over to Fort ave. They have way better options than the previous shoppers that better fit the community. Safeway is normally my go too, but now they have some competition. Hopefully this location won't go downhill months from now. Clean and wide selection for all people.

Love Giant food! I shop there all the time. At least once a week. Prices are a little high but that's everywhere you go nowadays. I like that they have a bagger.
