So far my experience has been positive.
I was worried about a water issue where I smelled a kind of sulfur (egg smell) and thought something might be wrong with the water treatment in our neighborhood. They sent someone out nearly same-day. How do I know? Because that technician came to my home to let me know they checked and everything was good. He then suggested I check my water heater tank as it might need a good purge. He was RIGHT. There was so much sediment in my water tank. My father and I did several flushes to get all the hard sediment out and that did the trick.

Also, customer service has been good so far. Yes, once in a while someone is having a bad day (at least that's how I empathize with it) and maybe there service is sub-par. Overall, my experience has been a positive one. Always be kind and I'll bring donuts ;)

Called on a Sunday because pump station was not working. NEVER EXPECTED service today, but a technician came out within an hour of my call. Great job. EVAN was professional,
and friendly. Big shout out for quick response and great service. James also came out today, burned out float, great service and very professional. Thanks to all.

Having no idea what I was doing, somehow I was lucky enough to get Teresa Reid to help me. Her knowledge and professionalism was outstanding from the very beginning of my ordeal. She also was kind, caring and understanding which is such a valuable attribute.
Thanks Teresa!

I got mad at the penalties that WJCUD would charge us so I pay 6 month in advance.. sometimes 1 year in advance.
I understand that some of us are living from pay-check to pay-check.
I understand the home owner's pain.

This business is conducted with a callous indifference toward those of us that are forced to use their water source. They'll reply that I'm not a customer too because if they don't have the info associated with this gmail account, then I must be a random unaffiliated person. And that's exactly the kind of arrogance I expect. This place has been horrible in every interaction me or my family have had with them. They wield their monopoly with the authoritarian and arrogant posture of a schoolyard bully that knows you have no other playground to play on. Us customers that are forced to deal with this have no recourse outside of the equally-janky feedback apparatus that's managed by this exact same company. Does anyone have any information on where/who to report to? A state or federal entity or something like that? Here's my experience with these people so far: First, all verbal exchanges come with that rude, sneering, insolent manner that terrible people get to indulge in if they know for certain that there's nothing you can do. The phone lady's phone-side manner is absolutely awful. What's that...your water bill doubled out of thin air with no explanation whatsoever? Well, you must've done something to cause that because it is impossible for wjcud to be wrong. Your payment is due on the 1st and our constantly-subpar website didn't process the payment you put in it? Well, today is the 2d so here's the late fee that you couldn't know about because you have a life and errantly moved on after submitting a payment to our janky website. And since you didn't know about that, you probably didn't realize this either: it's now the 11th and your water is shut off. There is zero decency in the way they do these things, absolutely zero warning. You can have payed your bill consistently and faithfully literally thousands of times as I have, but these folks will not do so much as send an email giving you the benefit of any doubt. The whole posture of this place stinks with a thirsty greed that is impossible to miss. There's something instinctively unethical about this whole set-up, something isn't right. I have no idea what it is but I'm sick of it and want to find out what's going on here. It's in the business practices, the general tone of everyone of these people I've spoken to, the snake quick turn-offs, fees, the deliberate sneakiness of it all offering no communication, no recourse, no warning, and no option. The whole set up with this entity is just flat out janky and I cannot accept that it can't be addressed and changed in a meaningful way They know or at least must believe that we have no other option. I cannot think of any other reason why this business is ran this way with littleor no accountability. There's no competition and I've heard that that's a fact. Is that true? Is there any possible way to get water another way? If so, please post it to this review.

I have never dealt with such a rude and judgmental person in my life than the woman that answered the phone here. Not only was she not helpful, but she missed what I was saying as being offensive. When dealing with people, if you don’t like what you’re hearing, it doesn’t mean it’s offensive it simply means you can’t answer the question find somebody who can.. Unfortunately, this area has the highest water prices I’ve ever paid in my entire life and I’ve lived around this country.. It is also clearly a monopoly because you have no choice. On who you get water from, therefore they take advantage of that. When I lived in California who is in a drought, my husband myself and two children never had a water bill over $100 and we had a swimming pool. This water company charges you for their business expenses. Therefore, we should be able to write that money off on our taxes and not them. I am a person that is for the people, and not for businesses that clearly take advantage of others!!

Absolutely worst utility service I've ever had. Was charged a $50 "processing fee" for my service to be cut off when they never even got to my house to cut it off. Absolutely little to no leniency on late bills unlike every other service I've had. Service when calling is hit or miss. Rude more often than not. And all they'll ever say is basically "sorry you feel that way". I can see how many are unsatisfied but what do they care? Nothing will ever be done. Don't even remember the reconnection fee or "processing fee" being so high. Oh and I've had leaks they were supposed to compensate for on my next bill and never did.

It’s always something with these people !! 🙄 I called Jackson utilities to see if I can make a payment arrangement BEFORE MY SERVICE GOT SHUT OFF , (because they told me they are willing to help me if I call before and make an arrangement until I get paid .) unfortunately Tasha told me some information that almost seemed made up. Saying I can’t make anymore payment arrangements.
WE ARE IN A RECESSION FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!
It seems very tone def for this ‘MANAGER’ to say she doesn’t care the next time I get paid it has to be paid right now. For a single parent of 3 kids trying to make ends meet in this economy. What goes around comes around . Good luck Tasha!! I’m calling HR !

Called HR . SAME as if I talked to a scab on the street . Miss Donna said there’s nothing she could do and hung up. After paying $47 in change to these crooks (which I find out they benefit off of the disconnect) I went to call Donna again to see if what the teller told me as correct : but for some reason I go straight to voice mail… mind you it’s 2:30pm .. not even close to 5 🙄 wow these guys seem to amazing me day by day! Well just for that I’ll be paying my utilities bill in all change next time . If you find it funny to screen customers calls I’ll make sure you guys work for every cent your getting paid for. People like you make it hard for us to live, and benefit from it.
Isn’t that weird that HR doesn’t answer?? I question these crooks working for the city .
