Had an issue with a car recently purchased. The oil pan plug was stripped and of course the Dodge Dealership wanted to break the bank to repair with the obvious up sells not needed.
Reached out to Ingram auto and they got me right in, fixed the issue and got me out the door at a fraction of the cost Dodge wanted.
Ingram never tried to up sell me, identified the problem and solved it.
Would highly recommend this garage. Extremely knowledgeable and fair. Will do business with again. 5 star's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Been coming to Ingram’s for our family’s auto service needs since we moved to the area a few years ago.

We’ve had 4 or 5 vehicles, all different makes and models, serviced there without a hitch.

Phil and the rest of the crew are honest people and do great work in a timely manner.

Awesome service! Nearly broke down on the side of the road multiple times over the last few weeks so I dropped my car off at Ingram’s and they quickly performed a diagnostic, finding out my catalytic converter degraded. They offered a very reasonable price (much lower than the dealership) and timely install. Convenient location, super nice staff, and quality work.

Great experience. I was in from out of town and needed an oil change and a tire rotation. I stopped by and asked if I could leave it or schedule. Left it. Was done later that day but I couldn't make it. They let me pick it up the next day. Easy to work with and pretty comparable to what I would pay back home!

Ingram Auto Care has always provided excellent service and repairs on my vehicles. From plugging my tires, new tires, and my car just won't run right, IAC has been honest, fair priced and explained what was being done to my car. I appreciate being able to trust them. On vacation and AC failed. Was referred to Ingram. They gave me an appointment, did exactly what they said they would do for the price they quoted. Left there cool, cool, cool with AC working well. Great service and very nice people. Highly recommend.

Ingram Auto Care is simply the best... We moved to the area about a year and a half ago, and of course the first thing anyone wants to do is make sure they find an honest mechanic. We tried Ingram Auto and were absolutely amazed! Beyond fair, extremely honest, thorough, hard-working and customer focused - really cannot say enough good things about Phil and the whole team! They have worked on our newer Acura for maintenance items, as well doing extensive trouble shooting and problem solving on our old Ford truck. Every time we go there, no matter what the car issue might be, they've always taken incredible care of us! Truly amazing and I am thankful for them!

I highly recommend this shop! I was in Emerald Isle on vacation when the Check Engine light came on in my 2006 Toyota Sienna. I took it to Ingram's and Phil patiently explained to me what the problem was and reassured me that it would be fine to drive back to Durham, and didn't charge me a penny. It's great (and rare) to find an honest, knowledgable, and friendly mechanic. If I lived here I wouldn't take my car anywhere else!

My family was on a vacation in Emerald Isle, NC. The day before we were to return home, the car shut off while I was driving in the Publix parking lot, and the check engine light came on. Ingram Auto Care was willing to see us on very short notice for a diagnostic code reading. Not only did they find what was wrong with the vehicle, they took steps to remedy the issue and ensure we had a safe trip home. They even explained exactly what the car was doing and why it was happening, so now we know what we must do to prevent it in the future. Very professionally run business! Gave me the time frame in which they could get to my vehicle, diagnosed the problem and called me with the estimated cost up front. Made the repairs promptly and successfully. Called right afterwards to let me know it was ready. Couldn't have asked for more. First class auto service. Phil Ingram does it the right way! So I had some steering issues on my Jeep I took my jeep down to fill at Ingram's auto care he pretty much knew what the problem was, but I took it in got my Jeep fixed. I got it back within a timely manner, and I would recommend everyone to go to Ingrams auto care

They have helped me twice so far in emergency situations and treated me so well.
1) When my battery failed once, two employees drove to my house, jumped my car to get it to their shop, replaced the battery and delivered it back to me. This is above and beyond. But they felt for me because I couldn’t leave a sleeping baby at home/wake him up to deal with car trouble. Amazing people!
2) on a Friday at 4pm, I realized one of my tires was in bad shape. They took it off put on my spare and ordered me a new tire. It was in first thing Monday morning and they put it on quickly knowing we were headed out of town for a family trip. They saved the trip for us!!

Our passenger side window regulator broke inside the door while on vacation and the window wouldn't raise. Phil Ingram made time for the repair and got us 100% fixed and safe within hours. Not an easy repair either. Nice people. Recommend this independent shop. ---Wes

I highly recommend Inghram Auto Care! Phil was professional, courteous and understanding. We were in town on vacation and even though he was willing to do the work he did not pressure us to do the work. When we decided to have the issue repaired he was able to do it quickly and for an honest price. He also has a nationwide warrenty on all of his repairs!

Our daughter joined us for vacation in the area and the day before we were to return, her clutch gave out. There was no way to repair the car before we to leave, but Phil went the extra mile to make sure we were able to pick up the car on a day when they're not normally open. The repair was expertly done and at a more than fair price. Good, honest mechanics!

Figured out my AC issue and later when another problem came up on my way home, took care of towing and fixed the car in no time! Very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable!

So refreshing to deal with an autocare company that is knowledgeable, respectful, on time and affordable. This was our first time taking our truck to Ingrams and was definitely the best experience we have had with an autocare company EVER! We needed our AC fixed, radio replaced and steering wheel replaced in our Dodge Ram Pickup. It all works great now and they made sure to communicate with us on everything to ensure that we were satisfied. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Give Phil a call!

Car broke down (no brakes) while visiting Emerald Isle on 10/18. Ingram Auto Repair repaired the car in one day. Management was friendly and very competent. The repair cost was fair & reasonable. I highly recommend Ingram Auto repair...

Had my car in a shop 7 times (different place) for AC repair.
Mechanic couldn't seem to fix the problem.
AC went out again on Friday before Memorial Day.
Mr. Ingram came out, spoke with me, checked out some things and then proceeded to explain the problem (as he saw it), then after giving me an estimate (and my approval) proceeded to fix it the same day and had me on the road again by 4:00 in the afternoon.
As an Uber/Lyft driver, having AC that works is a MUST.
