First time and definitely will be back. Recommended by friends who love this place...and now I know why. Fresh fish cooked with perfect seasoning. A aila le fried grilled or blackened. This restaurant is gluten free. Staff nice, clean dining and quick serve. I will definitely go back soon.

Had a great time with friends. Food was great,brought out hot and all at the same time. Chef was awesome. Our server was great. Ask for Nicki she was top notch server. She fit right in with our group. Highly recommend.

On our 35th anniversary trip to Florida we decided to see what Pascagoula Mississippi had to offer in the way of lunch options. We found two restaurants side by side on Krebs Ave. While trying to decide which one to try a local man walked by and we kindly asked which was the best. He quickly said Off the Hook Seafood was the freshest seafood in the area!
Decision made we went in and greeted right away by the owner. The vibe was definitely was that of a fishing village restaurant and seafood listings and prices colorfully chalked on a very large board.
We decided on crab cakes with shrimp creole and creole potatoes for me and trigger fish with fries for my wife. Both were absolutely delicious and filling ! My wife is not a huge seafood fan and was hesitant to try the trigger fish . First bite and she surprisingly loved it!
We shared a slice of key lime pie made in house and it was terrific as well !
This is definitely a place to consider for lunch when in the Pascagoula area!

To My Gluten Free Tribe …If you’re craving FRIED catfish… Off the Hook 🪝 is a must ! The catfish was tender flaky and perfectly fried 💕 The service was welcoming and friendly! The portions were large (I couldn’t finish it all ) …And did I mention AMAZINGLY Delicious 😋

Amazing seafood! Fried gluten free delicious seafood! And HUSHPUPPIES like I remember. I haven't had fried seafood since I went gluten free and this place is heaven. Thank you Off the Hook for a wonderful meal!!

Looking for hot, delicious seafood anyway you want it? THIS is the place! Get it blackened, grilled or fried. Daily specials and nice menu items as well. Today I got the fried triple tail with crinkle cut fries and coleslaw. Piping hot! Coleslaw was good too and I’m a bit of a coleslaw snob. Started out the meal with crispy fried green tomatoes. Best I’ve ever had. Hot and crunchy with a bit of tanginess. Seafood not your thing? They have sandwiches and salads as well. I was eyeballing their bread pudding with rum sauce or the key lime pie but just too full. Conveniently located in the downtown area not too far off of hwy 90. This is a smaller place and locally owned so give them a try.

Stopped here on a business trip and this place was highly recommended by a local. I had the fried trigger fish lunch and it was THE BEST fish I have ever tasted. Highly Recommend!

The food is really good. The fried shrimp is delicious and they serve crinkle fries which are the best fries! The service is always excellent. Will definitely go back again and again.

Our food was delicious!!!! The service was outstanding!! I had Shrimp and grits. My husband had fried royal red shrimp. Both were amazing. We highly recommend this stop!!!

This is a great hole-in-the-wall seafood place! We ordered trigger fish over a rice pilaf with a side of southern green beans. To top it off, their bread pudding slathered in buttery rum sauce was shockingly delicious. We will certainly return when we find outselves in the area again!

I took my mother for a drive to Pascagoula today. We stopped for lunch at Off The Hook, which I randomly selected off the internet. What a great choice! The lunch menu is full of reasonable plate options. Everything sounded good, so it was hard to decide what to order. Mom and I both ordered the grilled catfish plate, with rice and green beans. The serving of all three items was very generous for a lunch plate, and everything was delicious! I had read good things about the bread pudding online, so we tried that also. It was likewise very good. The texture was moist and creamy. In a nice twist, they put craisins in their version. The sweetness level is just right. It was a nice ending to an overall great meal. The atmosphere is clean, but not fancy, and that’s just fine with me. The servers are very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

We are in the area for work and decided to stop in this little local restaraunt...it was fantastic! The food was delicious but above all our server was phenomenal. Sherry was very sweet and took great care of us. She was the icing on the cake for our experience...thank you Sherry for all of your hard work!! 😁

Had the Mardi Gras special and it was wonderful. Huge crabcake and cup of gumbo! The service was fast and the server was great!

Felt like I went back in time. It was a quaint place to visit with the friendliest service. If you’re on a gluten free diet, you’re in for a treat. Everything is fried using corn flour. I hadn’t had fried pickles or seafood in years. Looks like a local favorite, as well.

Everything is simply great about this joint. The only issue I have is...wish it be open for the weekend hours also.

Nice waitress sold me on trying Trigger fish for the first time and boy was it worth it! Sooooo good! Their rice pilaf and green beans were also amazing. Topped it off with bread pudding in rum sauce and I left there happy as can be! Can't wait to go back
