My 3yo son had multiple surgeries this morning and from the doctors to the nursing staff and the anesthesiologist team was nothing short of amazing.. they were so warm and welcoming to him.. I was skeptical going in but came out thoroughly satisfied!

My daughter is currently an inpatient. Doctor MJ, the pediatrician, is one of the nicest, most caring doctors I have ever met. You can tell that he truly loves his profession and his patients. Highly intelligent and well spoken, as well. Singing River should be proud to have him.

We went to the outpatpatient cancer center for surgery my wife had on her ovary removal. The surgery went quickly. They had her in and out within 4 hours. Dr Finan was her amazing doctor that did the operation and she was up walking hours later. Went home and the next day she is up and moving. Best scenario ever. Thanks dr and staff.

I only have nice things to say about this hospital. We had to bring our baby into the emergency room back in August after he was born and had to stay for five days. Dr. Sexton and his staff were amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They took fantastic care of our newborn, especially our nurses Emily and Shelby. Being a first time mom not knowing much, they helped me with breastfeeding and answering all my questions. I’m so grateful for all their help!

My 85 year old Mom was sent to Singing River for an ultrasound on her arm due to her dialysis graph was not working. We live in Ocean Springs and have only been to Ocean Springs Hospital lately. We were told to be at Singing River at 8:00 and once we got there they had us down for 11:00. We waited just a little and then Brian the Cardiology Tech (sorry Brian I did not know your official title)came and got us and he did the ultrasound. He was so nice and professional. When we were done, we had to wait before the Dr could see us and for her to be admitted. Brian kept checking on us in the waiting room and brought us a blanket and even took my Mom to her room they had for her in her wheelchair. I hugged him and thanked him. It made a difficult day seem brighter. Thanks Brian! Helen and Maxine

I went to the emergency room here the other night and I must say it was best emergency room experience I’ve ever had. ( and I’ve had a few!) On a Saturday night they diagnosed me and had me on my way in a few hours. The nurses were great and the rooms were new and very clean. Thank God for Singing River!!

I was scheduled for an echocardiogram and carotid ultrasound this week at Singing River Hospital. I live in Mobile, Al and have previously had my yearly exams performed in Mobile. I had the most pleasant experience ever at Singing River Hospital. The hospital was extremely clean. Jenny Wade, who performed my echocardiogram was pleasant, and very professional. I felt so comfortable in her exam room as the atmosphere she created was very calming.
Brian Cochran performed my Carotid ultrasound, and he is extremely kind, and professional. He took his time with me, and I never felt rushed or nervous. Brian even walked me to my follow up appointment with Dr. Gregory Mcgee. Bethany Ward, Dr. Mcgee's nurse was so kind and very thorough. Dr. Mcgee is an amazing physician who is very kind and compassionate. I almost feel like I had a relaxing day, instead of a day of medical appointments. Singing River, you are very fortunate to have these 4 amazing employees on your staff! Keep up the exceptional work Singing River! Once again, thank you so much to Jenny, Brian, Bethany, and Dr. Mcgee!!

I had outpatient surgery and was so impressed by EVERY single staff member from pre registration, lab, nursing, anesthesiology, my surgeon and through discharge. They were all so personable, encouraging & compassionate. I wouldn’t recommend surgery but if it is a must, you will be very well taken care of in Pascagoula!

I’ve seen so many people’s reviews who were treated badly at the hospital, but I had a wonderful experience.
From check in to check out, everybody was very friendly and nice.

I had to go through the emergency room for my surgery and they pointed me to go up to the first floor. From there, Katie the front admin desk had asked me for my orders and I told her nobody gave it to me and it was suppose to be faxed over. She gave the obgyn clinic a call and ask for the paperwork. And she got it within 5 minutes after calling. After that, we went to the billing department which was in the same area as the waiting area. We got called in and paid for my portion after my insurance took care of 80% of the bill.

We sat back down in the waiting room after finishing up the bill portion and a nice woman escorted us first to labs to get my blood samples and also a covid test was done. After all of that, the nice woman escorted us to the patient room where I got undressed and waiting for my IV to be inserted in to my arm.

My husband got a card stating my name and number so he can follow along my progress during my surgery in the patient waiting room.

The room was very clean, everything felt like they were wiped down, the toilet seat was also wiped down because there was a “sanitized” band on the toilet seat.

The hospital gave me socks and a gown to wear during surgery. When I got my IV inserted in and took my antibiotic, there was a man who wheeled me in to the surgery room and that’s when Dr. Banahan did her thing and an hour later, I woke up in the recovery room.

I was the only patient in the recovery room so the two nurses that were there, took tremendous care of me.

One of the nurses woke me up and I screamed because I forgot where I was due to the strong anesthesia. We laughed it off after I was fully somewhat conscious. I also had to go pee and when they pulled up a portable potty I attempted to stand up on my own but I fell down pretty hard and the two nurses came and picked me up and comforted me because I was shaking too.

Overall. The hospital staff was amazing, my doctor was amazing, everything in the facility felt very clean and everyone followed covid protocol. I highly recommend coming to this hospital and giving a chance here because I had a great experience with this place. Thank you Amanda and Lynn from the recovery room. You guys rock!

Dr. Simpler and his team preformed Robotic Surgery on me because of alot of damage and infection and pain from repeated attacks of Diverticulitis, ulcers and adhesions and although I do have some pain, it's controllable for me with Tylenol because I throw up with pain med. Robotic Surgery is minimally invasive. I have the highest expectations, that this surgery is successful and will end my years of pain. Our gut health is so important. I would like to thank my Surgeon, Dr. Simpler and his office staff, everyone from the anesthesiologist and all of the ones at the hospital from Dr. Logan the Hospitalist to Dr. Bertrand who came to see me and let me go home. My nurses were Exceptional. They really spoiled me to where I didn't really want to leave. I'm proud of the Team of nurses and the Nutrition Dept. They called me to ask me what I would like to eat and it was delicious. Thank you to everyone . I hope that I covered everyone. Keep up the good work and may God Bless you all Brenda Rhodes . I wish that I could name you all,but you know who you are.

Had a procedure done here and this is the best hospital I've ever been to. they will make sure that you feel good and that everything is done the best way possible and that you are safe , stable, and secure with the procedure that was done. Also make sure that your family is kept up-to-date. They also are very clean and make sure that bacteria doesn't get nowhere near cuts, are sutures. The nurses and pre-op and post-op are awesome an anesthesiologist treat you so well and the Aftercare nurses are great also.

You my wonder why the many negative reviews. I have heard, privately some negative things about the hospital. My wife used to work there, but had to quit due to her health issues. She knew what was going on, both positive and negative, but of course no one wants to hear anything negative. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and was admitted to their cancer center. I went there every day for 39 weeks for radiation treatment. Dr. Greenfield explained in detail the procedure and was very caring. During the treatments, I saw him every 5th treatment and he always spent enough time with me so I could tell him my problems I had, if any. He always gave me his full attention and addressed any concerns I had. The three technicians who administered the radiation treatments were all friendly and professional. All the personnel from admissions to medical staff were all kind, considerate and professional. Although the cancer center is part of the Singing River hospital system, I can give them a top rating. I can speak of the cancer center, but not for the hospital. I usually go to the Ocean Springs hospital, so you can read my review of that facility there.

Went in the morning of Feb 14th, 2018 under the watchful eye of Dr Burks and his professional team for surgery. Everything went well and as planned. I was treated very well. My room was clean and orderly and faculty was professional. I want to especially commend RN Kay, who was on duty as my nurse. She did an outstanding job making sure that I was as comfortable as possible and had my required meds when needed. I would also like to commend PCA Shea, who was also on duty that night. She was a very pleasant young lady. Took my vitals, yet did not interfear with my "dozing" on and off. She made me extremely happy when at 4: 30am asked if I needed anything, I asked for a cup of coffee and she took it upon her self to make a pot at the nurses lounge and bring me a cup. Again thank you ladies for feeling well taken care of.
From my registration to pre-op to surgery I have no negative comments on the way that I was treated at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. 5 stars and a thumbs up rating from me.

To Everyone, This morning I visited the Cafeteria and was in the process of paying for our breakfast myself and my caregiver. To my surprise, Ms. Alma Jackson, RN, PAID for our breakfast and I didn't get to THANK her properly. What a great act of kindness. Thank You, Thank You. James E Fisher and LS Parker.

I apologize for the previous comment. After all, I was under the influence of massive doses of steroids. I would like to thank the nurses on 1 East, you saved my life even with all the trouble I caused you. Dr. Iodice, Dr Darren, they come no better. A special thank you to Dr. Randy Roth, you've been there through both my Mother and Father passing. Never, a more compassionate man on the planet. One more item, I'd like to add, don't blame the nurses for 40 year habit of smoking. I, and I alone, the only one to blame.
