Mimmo’s Ristorante Pizzeria

We visited Mimmo's Ristorante Pizzeria for lunch while touring Laurel. We enjoyed our meals very much! My wife ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken, and I had Penne Alla Caprese with shrimp added. My wife let me have a little of her salad (she ordered the big one). The romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp, the shavings of Parmesan cheese were robust and plentiful, and the dressing had an appropriate sharpness to it. As for my Penne Alla Caprese, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful but not overpowering. It was perfect for lunch. Our service was also quite good, and the unsweetened iced tea that came with my meal was crisp and refreshing.

This place has some great food. The bruschetta was the best I've ever tasted. The tomatoes were perfectly ripped, and bread was so fresh. The lasagna was good, but it was a small portion, but it was just right for me. This p l ace is on Laurel, Mississippi Main Street.

I've always enjoyed eating this food. They have some of the best Italian I've ever had. I recommend the Cajun spaghetti (with angel hair pasta and no mushrooms... but that's just my preference..).
My children always enjoy the fountain in the middle.. so I always have to bring coins in.
The people have been friendly every time I've eaten here as well.

Food was good server was friendly and efficient, she took good care of our needs. We got there about 4:45pm and by the time we got our food it had gotten busy. Mimmo's was a recommendation from someone at Scotsman General store. We ordered a pepperoni pizza & house salad. They serve coke products

We love Mimmo's! Fire brick oven pizza and awesome pasta. My favorite is the chicken parmesian. You get a very large chicken breast over pasta with flavorful marina. It's awesome. Oh and don't forget to try the garlic knots for an appetizer!

Great atmosphere. Authentic tasting food - this ain’t Olive Garden! Superb service by Aden H. VERY good lasagna - soft noodles, good amount of meat - filling! Make sure to get the endless grilled bread/olive oil for only $2. Would come here again if in town!

We sat at the bar. No wait. Love the super high ceilings. Menu names are in Italian but the description is in English. The bartender was fantastic. The olive oil and the table bread were fantastic. Grazie Mimmo ! Arrivederci alla prossima !

Met a friend here for dinner while traveling through. I had spaghetti, my husband had lasagna and my friend had a wonderful looking salad. It was all good.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Laurel! All the food is so fresh, everything is homemade, and the service is great. I've never had a bad meal or experience there.

Authentic Italian food in the most charming location. The fountain was so soothing to listen to while you eat. Food...amazing. couldn't decide what to eat.. Staff were super friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting Laurel.

The pizza was very good, the dough tasted better than most pizza doughs I’ve eaten. Only downfall is you can’t really build your own pizza. The fettuccini Alfredo was amazing. Kids enjoyed their chicken strips also.

Found this gem while visiting Laurel. Very nice restaurant. The inside has a vintage look, yet modern. I love the brick walls.

The hostess was friendly and we were seated immediately. The server was really nice and her customer service skills were great. I believe her name was Sarah. We also found out she's from our hometown so that was special. She was knowledgeable and patient, as we really couldn't decide what to get and then phone calls that interrupted our decision making.

The restroom was clean and huge! There were 2 restrooms, doors weren't marked for male or female, they were designed exactly the same with huge space so you don't feel claustrophobic inside a stall.

The food was delicious. Let me start with the bread. They grill the bread and give you that dipping sauce...yummy!!!

We had the seafoo cannelloni! I hope I spelled it correctly it was very delicious, nice pieces of seafood with every bite. Really cheesy and flavorful. It was my first time trying a cannelloni ever and I was satisfied.

Definitely a spot to check out when you're in Laurel

So good, I eat so much I skipped breakfast the next morning.

From the garlic bread with ham and cheese to the Cajun ravioli to the suprema pizza I ate everything except have the pizza the garlic bites dripping off your finger and filled with ham and cheese so good.. the Cajun ravioli taste like a crawfish bisque in ravioli form and the pizza was sweet and just delicious with all the toppings! And to finish it all we got canollis! And they didn't disappoint either! Bit pricey but I'd buy it again .. tomorrow !

It was our first time. The atmosphere is good and really nice place inside. One of the best pizza places I've eaten at. Great taste..... service was great too !!

Nate was the best server!! We enjoyed our meal he was fast and very attentive super charming! We had the garlic rolls and a pepperoni pizza. We will be back for sure 😊

A very open aired dining experience. Very high, industrial ceilings which gave it a certain ambiance. Nate was excellent server and we noted how the manager jumped right in to assist. We got there right when a group of about 35 customers sat at two long tables. We thought our food would take longer but that was not the case. My wife’s fettuccini was excellent as well as
My egg plant parmigiana. Calamari as an appetizer was nice as breading was light. Desert was good as well. Reasonably priced. We highly recommend eating here.

We ate lite this evening; had the Ahi Tuna salad and a Cesar salad with shrimp. All was delicious. Our server, Leticia was on top of everything and very friendly.

Service was 5 star all the way! The bruschetta is the absolute best thing I've ever eaten in my life. The Mediterranean salad is also amazing. Definitely check out this place when you are in Laurel

Good accommodation when we required private dining room. Servers are personable and efficient.
Food delicious.
