He completely rewired our two cabins (from poor electricians' past), installed brand new outlets, dimmers, lights and fixtures (we're talking recessed, pendants, chandeliers, wall sconces...you name it) with several custom design projects along the way that required master level proficiency that even the most seasoned and expert-level electricians would be challenged by. During the remodel process, there were countless times where I thought something couldn't be done...and Chris was truly ready for any challenge I threw his way. Chris' work ethic and mastery of the trade blew us away time after time, job after job - but what is even more impressive are his uncommonly excellent communication skills and his natural ability to put clients at ease. Chris was a great commentator, a rarity in this area. He showed up, was punctual, worked steadily throughout the day and cleaned up each evening before leaving. He and his journeyman, Austin, were respectful and worked well together. Chris took my ideas and offered improvements and considerations that I didn’t have the expertise to make. Chris and Austin were GREAT! I had an electrical project that needed to be done. Called Chris and he was one of the 1st to respond to work up a quote. I received a few quotes. Chris gave me a quote that was fair. I decided to use them because he asked multiple questions about the project and requested some pictures so he could get a full scope of the project. He kept me informed of what he planned to do in terms of ordering materials and exactly when he could fit my project into his schedule. He had an opening and was able to complete the job within about a week. Professionalism, communication, punctuality, fairness and responsiveness are major factors when deciding on a contractor. I found Avodah Electric online after attempts to contact other electricians, indirectly through Angie’s list and directly through calls and emails, were unsuccessful. Chris was quick to respond. He was kind and professional. He was up front about both costs as well as his extremely full/ demanding schedule. We all know folks who are truly skilled in their craft are in high demand and low supply.
Chris set expectations up front and met all of his commitments.
Our job requirements were on an existing 25 year old home. We required several existing circuits which were carrying too much load and needed to be rewired and/or split. We also had several new circuits/home runs which we wanted added so that certain appliances which carried more load could sit on their own breaker without tripping, including exterior lighting. And finally we had several distributed light switches/fixtures which we hoped could be controlled differently. Chris provided creative solutions to all of these issues.
After reviewing our needs, Chris electronically sent an estimate for the work - and he also sent calendar invitations for the time he intended to spend at our home, so we knew exactly when he planned to do the work. He billed us electronically too - so he made everything as easy and seamless and possible.
Chris completed everything he promised to do, in the time he said he would do it, and in our case under budget - although we knew that estimates are just that and that problems can/do arise where costs and hourly time can exceed initial plans. Months since he completed our job, we have been very happy with his work.
We have worked with many contractors over the years and Chris is the model of what you want your experience and outcome to be.
If you are considering hiring him for a job, you should. Should I need an electrician again, he’ll be my first call.

Came to install ceiling fan on 20 foot ceiling. Very timely and courteous and respectful. Nice to work with and very reasonable charges. I would highly recommend this company!

I highly recommend Avodah Electric LLC, I had an emergency around 9ish (pm) and he was able to come and assist us! He was absolutely beyond helpful, he is a really good guy, I’m glad he came bc we wouldn’t be warm and cozy at our home, he was able to fix my box breaker and fix the problem that wasn’t permitting the power to stay on! I absolutely give him a 10 ⭐

We are very happy with our experience with Avodah Electric. Chris installed an electric vehicle charging port in our carport and did some rewiring in our kitchen. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very prompt. He is good about confirming appointments. Chris and his apprentice got the job done efficiently.
