Even coming in late we were happily accepted at the bar while we waited on our food. Our server Edy was very helpful and provided quick, friendly service. We never felt rushed at all. I highly recommend the strawberry mojito! It's delicious 🖤

Pretty laid back restaurant. Grandma is able to walk into this restaurant herself, so it is accessible. The entrance floor is just a tad bit uneven so be careful there. I ordered Enchiladas and they were pretty good. The rice was probably the best. they make fresh guacamole in front of you as well, for an extra fee. I’d recommend

Party of six and sat immediately. Server was fantastic, drinks and mixed drinks were always full. Nice sized regular menu and drink menu with lots of options. Food was wonderful, loved the salsa!

Amazing food. The guacamole is freshly made to order at the table side and is well worth the price for the freshness and quantity. Portions are great and delicious. Staff was fast and kept cups full. Will be headed back soon!

Great food. First Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I had the Enchiladas Poblanos. It's a quickly acquired taste, as I hated the first bite, but by the 3rd bite, I loved it! The workers are friendly. It wasn't very crowded around when it opened. We were the only people there besides the UPS driver that came in on his break. The sweet tea is good as well.

We had lunch here, and it was sparkling clean! Fast, friendly, and fantastic customer service. We were offered lunch-size portions of our meals, which was perfect for us. All the food was flavorful, and above average Mexican food. The prices were spot on affordable. Highly recommend for a family dinner out when visiting the island!

If you are looking for authentic Mexican with a flare of creative flare on certain items! Come on down.

The food is above and beyond delicious! We got bacon covered cheese filled shrimp! Jalapeno poppers, fancy drinks and delicious food! The waiters are kind and attentive.

Great queso and fancy colored chips!! Sweet tea is perfection.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. It was amazing ! This restaurant is super clean including the bathrooms - no dust or cobwebs anywhere!!!!
We ordered a jumbo margarita to share , had chips an salsa that were delicious followed by a beef burrito topped with queso an chicken quesadilla both served with beans and rice . Our server - Kevin was top notch ! We will definitely be back soon !

Highly recommended! The best Mexican food in town, hands down. Fast service, delicious, great customer service, we have absolutely no complains, everything was fantastic! I recommend their instant fresh guacamole, it was amazing! 10/10!

This place is AMAZING. If you need to wait, it is worth it! Seriously! I have never left a Google review but I have to with this place. By far the BEST place we have ever eaten at! The inside is soooo adorable, I just had to take pictures! I was with a party of seven and even the two youngsters loved it! We knew our waiter, Ignacio, must’ve been busy but never even acted like it! Needless to say, we cannot afford it but we are definitely going again before we leave! If you don’t try this place you will miss out big time!

This establishment has a cool atmosphere, delicious food, and awesome service. The lighting of the restaurant is moody, but not too dark. I had the fajita texana lunch; it was perfectly cooked and had everything had great flavor. The chips and salsa were also delicious. If you come to Emerald Isle and love Mexican food, this is your place!

If you are looking for excellent service and delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices then this is your place. My wife and I ordered the fajitas for one and there was a piping hot plate piled with steak, chicken, peppers, onions, etc. Highly recommend. Very kind staff who are one the ball! The chips and salsa were tasty as well.

This place has always been amazing! We used to live in the area and came here all the time. We came back to just visit and of course stopped by twice in one week! Prices are good, food is fantastic. Salsa and table side guacamole is one of a kind. Everything here is good.

Dinner was great. Service was excellent. Large servings. We all brought 1/2 our dinner home.

Very nice place to eat! You want authentic Mexican food? Bet, this is by far the best spot in Emerald Isle. Want a nice margarita? I highly recommend the mango margarita. I give this spot a 10/10… sorry El Zarape

We love coming here when we go down to EI. Food is always delicious and they are very accommodating to young kids.

We got the Fajita Vallarta and Shrimp Chimichangas, and both were absolutely delicious and spiced perfectly! Portions were great, especially with the fajita! It was actually way too much food, not that we're complaining! Hubby didn't even get the veggies it came with, and it was still enough food to make two full meals! The complimentary salsa and chips combo were also very tasty! The salsa had some kick to it but not too much. Highly recommend Plaza Mexico! Best meal we've had so far!

Had a fantastic meal tonight. The chicken fajitas were truly amazing. My son loved his cheese quesadillas and thought the refried beans were really flavorful.
