Blue Heron

We enjoyed delicious prime rib and a nice red wine. Staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. We were too full for desert, but the offerings looked enticing. Update: the bread offered before dinner was some of the nicest I've had.

Blown away but the quality and taste of the Food. Came For a friends bday and got the restaurant week special. Steak bites with blue cheese were phenomenal and perfectly cooked. For dinner, I got the pork chop (which I never usually eat or order) and it was one of the best meals I’ve had. I will absolutely come back and try other menu items.

I hate to even write a review about this place. Because it truly is a honey hole. Best restaurant I’ve ever been too. And I’ve been to thousands. We go to a new place almost every weekend.
I hate to write this review because I don’t want to expose blue Herron for the dining experience that it really is - but it is fine because it is a 5 star dining experience. If you don’t prefer the beef medallions you are missing out. If anyone in your party is thinking about ordering it - do it. You will not get anything less than Amazing here.
This is my 5th time here and felt compelled to write this reviews because it is phenomenal and you are missing out if you don’t try it. But I ask that you please don’t share with all of your friends because if word gets out you WILL NOT be able to eat here without a reservation months/ years in advance. This is a Michelin star caliber restaurant.

Second time eating here and it’s absolutely delicious! We had the same server, an older gentleman who is very nice and attentive. We’ll make sure to get his name next time, because we will be frequenting more often.

The food has always been delicious and the cocktails on point. The hatd part is deciding on the pork chop, the lamb or the fish special...

I love writing a good reviews for good restaurants. You will not be disappointed in the Blue Heron at the Beaufort Club. It's about 5 mins outside the City Limits of Beaufort and it's open to the public. The food is delectable and the service is professional, welcoming and friendly. The chef has a way of combining ingredients and flavors to deliver an incredible treat that your taste buds that you will not soon forget. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and maple bacon jam and the black and blue sirloin bits are simply the best appetizer I've ever had. The Maple glazed Pork chops and the Tortellini with butternut cream sauce are delicious . I'm ranking the Blue Heron number 1 on my favorite places to eat in Beaufort, Morehead and the Atlantic Beach area.

We played in a member member tournament and afterwards, I ate lunch at the Blue Heron and got the blackened fish sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten

Took my wife here for our 32nd wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint us. Food and service was outstanding. It is one of Carteret County’s best kept secret.!!!!!!
