I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Carteret Heart and Vascular. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt like I was in excellent hands. The care provided by Nurse Heather and Provider Jeremy Waddell exceeded all expectations.

Nurse Heather's professionalism and warmth immediately put me at ease. Her attention to detail and genuine concern for my well-being made every interaction comforting. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and well-informed throughout my visit. Her expertise and compassionate care truly made a difference in my experience. Not to mention, I had my toddler with me and she ensured that she was not a disruption and even provided her with toys to occupy her.

Provider Jeremy Waddell's knowledge and expertise are unparalleled. His dedication to providing personalized care and finding the best possible solutions for his patients are truly commendable. He took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain my treatment options, and answer all of my questions with patience and clarity. I left my appointment feeling confident and reassured, knowing that I was in capable hands.

The entire staff at Carteret Heart and Vascular demonstrated a commitment to excellence that is truly exceptional. The facility is modern, clean, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable environment for patients. From scheduling appointments to follow-up care, every aspect of my experience was seamless and efficient.

Wonderful staff and provider. I had a lot of anxiety around why I needed to pay them a visit and Dr. Waddell and his team did a great job at putting my mind as ease. I would 100% recommend this facility to my family and loved ones.

Dr Waddell is a truly incredible provider. Don’t let his humbleness fool you, this Duke University graduate is highly intelligent , knowledgeable and is extremely kind. He is not like most medical providers that rush you out or think they have all the answers before even meeting you. He listens to you. Truly listens. The type of listening that is listening to understand and gain insight and not just listening to respond. Which is key in gaining a medical history of course but is also incredibly refreshing and reassuring that you’re not being dismissed. When he asks "how can i help you?" and "what can I do for you?" you know and can feel that its sincere and that he truly cares. I deeply appreciate that and I’m certain others do as well.

Each and every staff member exudes this same mindset. Upon immediate interaction, you can tell that each and every one of them care for their patients deeply. They recognize when something seems off (medically) and take immediate action to ensure you are provided the best care right away. They even helped me to my seat, brought me water, helped me stand and even went to my car and got my visit notes that I brought but forgot in the car. They physically assisted me and helped carry my belongings into each room throughout the process. They assured me that I was in the right place to get these issues treated and they are there to help me with whatever I need. Even though that incident was at my first visit, I could feel that they were right and they were. All staff members were constantly working to ensure everything ran smoothly and efficiently. At no time did I see anyone sitting, having office chit chat or doing anything other than working. I also appreciated the fact the staff spoke quietly. At no time could I hear any staff members speak through the walls, which is rare in medical office settings. Their conscience decision to speak very quietly ensures patient privacy and HIPPA and is further evidence as how much they care for their patients. Again, which I am incredibly grateful for and I’m certain others are as well. I highly recommend Dr Waddell, his staff and this facility.

Dr. Waddell and his staff are great. The Dr’s knowledge and
personality put me at ease. This office staff actually answers their phones! They schedule appointments quickly! The Cardiac RN that did my stress test was awesome! He made me feel very comfortable, I was informed of every move. I loved his sense of humor, it made for a “stress-free” stress test!

Excellent care! Dr.Jeremy and his staff are top notch and on the cutting edge but with the personal old fashion concern for the individual patient and their needs. Always take the time for a thorough evaluation and follow-up . Leaves you with the peace of mind you are in good hands.

Dr. Waddell and his staff are by far the best I’ve seen in years. The knowledge the Dr has and the way he breaks it down makes it a whole lot easier to understand. Everyone in the building treats you like a special patient not just a number. I have and will continue to refer people to this office. Absolutely hands down the best

Very knowledgeable staff and great administration. In a small town, it’s hard to find a doctor’s office that has an efficient system and is up to date on insurance policies. I have found that Jeremy Waddell’s office is professional and friendly. Jeremy Waddell has many years of experience and a great bedside manner.

After 3 hospitals, 1 fast med and 2 face to face in clinic appts with my own UNC doc and no help Dr. Waddel was very caring, very thorough, he prescribed new meds that work, I'm pain free, I'm sleeping now and as humans we all have to have that light at the end of the tunnel for different reasons and mine Medically had been extinguished and he gave me my life back to where I can live with my condition pain free and be more prepared for future flare-ups. If you live in or near ENC and he treats your type of conditions he is the Dr. You need to be seeing, I finally feel heard, looked after and no longer dismissed.Thank you Dr. Waddel and all office staff.

Refreshing professionalism and personalities. The doctor and the five members of his staff that I had the pleasure of meeting made the experience very comfortable. I strongly recommend this practice.

Super awesome and caring provider and staff. They took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed them very well. I called in on Monday morning and had an appointment that afternoon!

Dr. Jeremy is awesome! He saw us right away and did all the testing needed to determine my husband’s cardiac condition. Very caring and professional.

Welcoming and clean office, friendly and competent staff, and the location - a stone’s throw from the ocean waves made for a productive but relaxing appointment this week!

Does anyone work here ? I have attempted calling this place for 3 days now to get care and can never get anyone to answer the phone

Update : 11-18-2023 Response from the owner is a joke . I called during the business hours he posted never got a call back .

The idea that people have to follow you on social media to get your open and close hours ??? It would have been less of a hassle to just update the voicemail saying you are closed .

I have even been in the office while the phone rings and your office staff plays on their cell phones .

Deny it all you want . It's a business act like it . Employees don't want to work find someone who will .

The office manager has made sure that I'll never be back. They made a simple error that could have been rectified in a friendly fashion but instead, the office manager chose to talk down to me, speak to me in a condescending and belittling manner and threaten me with financial ruin because she couldn't be bothered to follow up with my insurance company even though I did the work of calling them and giving her the reference number for her to call them back with. In the end, my insurance paid so she did all that for nothing.

I had no experience in their medical abilities, and I am thankful for that. I contacted them for business purposes test, which I specifically and more than once specified. Based an their reassurance to deliver, plans were made. The fact that tests were not delivered and found my self miles from home, the money lost and the trouble I got my self into are insignificant before their personal behavior of addressing the issue. Their sarcasm , denials and attitude were the worst and inhumane. The fact that their front desk denied any kind of help, hid and hung up the phone, says a lot about what to expect in a more serious situation. Thank God in my case it was only money and time lost.
