Don Ciro's Tacos

The food was very good The chicken enchilada was not super dry like most white meat. The cheese sauce was the traditional yellow which I love. The service was excellent. They came to check on me multiple times after I got my food. I will eat here again.

And my humble opinion, the best Mexican restaurant in Shawnee and possibly the best restaurant. Overall more value for your dollar than any place I've ever been home cooked, good food, great atmosphere, and an incredible staff! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Excellent Tex Mex in Shawnee. The Monterrey chicken was well marinated and slathered with plenty of Monterrey Jack cheese. The rice was well seasoned and just straight delicious. The sopapilla was ok. Also impressive was that each person also got an individual salsa and queso with the chips at the beginning of the meal. Would highly recommend.

Great food for a great price! Don Ciro’s is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Shawnee. Their Quesabirria Tacos are some of the best in the state! 10/10

Wow! If it’s your first time make sure to try their quesabrilla’s it was the perfect texture and could tell they were made with care. My husband got the menudo and it was soo flavorful Im definitely ordering it next time with their home made bread 🥖. Tasting the food to me home to south California.

my mom and i really enjoy coming here. they are really some wonderful and patient people even when it's crazy busy then they do great work to take care of everyone and just about run to get you your food and never rush you. a favorite for sure! absolutely enjoyed all that we have tried so far and favs are molcajete, quesadilla dinner, beef chimichanga and taco salad.

First time I’ve tried this place and OMG amazing. The birria tacos are out of this world — the queso is amazing. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Driving through on way home and was looking for some mexican food. Read the reviews and figured we would try it. It is a small little rough looking building but the food was amazing!! So glad we stopped and tried it. Love their hot salsa!!! So delish

Visited this place for lunch while on a business trip. I usually get carne asada when trying new Mexican restaurants, because I am familiar with the taste. I think it set a new standard for what I expect from carne asada. Also, I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that emphasized really nice plating; all the food was arranged on the plate to create some neat color banding.

Best Mexican food restaurant. Great prices, wheelchair accessible, delicious food, large portions and attentive service. My family's favorite for Mexican cuisine. Did I mention Great Prices? I recently had a family dinner there with 28 people. No complaints at all. The food was hot and delicious, as always. The staff took care of all us without any delays. Highly recommend!

The street tacos are bomb. The salsa, queso and tortillas are pretty standard, but the street tacos are A grade quality. The owners brother has been there the first, second and third time I've been and he ran circles around the store to serve everyone, bus tables, and be the cashier.... I wouldn't be surprised if he was cooking too. Impressive service and tasty food. Wonderful small business to support.

I don't so much care about the atmosphere when the service and the Carne asada tacos are so good! I even took an order home for lunch the next day. They packaged the cilantro and radishes separately, and even though I heated them up in the microwave, tortillas too, they were still amazing. We love this place.

Honestly we love Don Ciro's! Local ran business and they take care of you everytime you go there. The last time they were really busy so it was a little slower than normal. I haven't had a dish yet that I haven't enjoyed

Birria tacos are great, as was the sauce. I love mom and pop restaurants. Good food and service always outrank atmosphere. In fact I could care less about the atmosphere

The food is authentic, and I love that. Even though they have great salsa we got a bad batch, but it was fine the next time. (Being authentic that stuff happens from time to time). Anyone that loves real homemade Mexican style food will love this place! It's not tex-mex, (On the Border type food.)
My employer bought, as a special treat, lunch for us and the food was perfect, the salsa was so tasty, and the cheese sauce was exactly the way I like it!
