Smoky Mountain Lake, LLC

We rented Clover and Trillium for our two families for a week in June. The cabins were simple, nothing fancy but squeaky clean, comfortable and situated on a beautiful Lake Douglas cove. Our four grandkids (12,10, 8, 7) and all the adults swam, canoed and fished in the cove for hours. Lots of hot water for showers, comfortable beds and a big front porch overlooking the cove added to the ease and enjoyment of the week. Management was responsive and very easy to work with, prices were reasonable. Lots of stairs down to the dock, could be an issue for little bitty ones. But hey, all those stairs helped justify dessert! Would certainly stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Trillium. The booking process was great… Lynda was the best agent I’ve ever dealt with to book a vacation home. We loved the location on the lake as we brought our own pontoon and the water was very deep. We loved the covered deck where we could sit, drink coffee and look at the water. The cabin was spacious and clean with plenty of hot water. We cooked many meals and just had a wonderful time. The hosts were very gracious to us in every way. We can’t wait to return to Trillium.

Great cabin with fantastic lake views. Lynda was great in helping us find Clover, and the cabin was the cleanest we have stayed in. The lake access was perfect, and the water was wonderful. We played in the lake and swam every day. The kitchen was well equipped to cook all our meals. It was a great experience all the way around--from booking to arrival to our seven days in Clover. And when we left behind an item, Lynda got it mailed to us quickly. Really appreciate it!

We love these cabins! We have been coming here for over 12 years and have never been disappointed. The cabins are always clean and makes us feel right at home. The views and lake are awesome. The owners are so pleasant to work with. You wont be disappointed if you stay at these cabins. We just returned and already cant wait to get back next summer if possible. We come every year. Def peace and quiet if that is what you are looking for!

The Burning Love Cabin was so peaceful & clean. Not to mention, the company was very accommodating, even though we were only staying one night. ***the pic of my hubby is a joke. He had shorts on.

We had the most amazing weekend! The cabin was immaculate, the views spectacular and was more like staying in a well appointed home rather than a vacation rental. We will definitely be back and can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much Lynda, you were such a delight to talk to and made sure everything was perfect for us!

We spent Labor Day Week 2020 at the Clover cabin and had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and in good order. The kitchen is well stocked. It has the best view of the main channel from the deck! Our inlet was very deep with beautiful water. A peaceful, rustic location. About 15 minutes from groceries and gas. We swam almost everyday and did some fishing from our dock. There is a family of otters nearby and that was fun to watch. Lynda was awesome to work with and made the process very easy. We will definitely use SmokyMountainLake.com again in the future!

This cabin was very spacious and the rental staff are great to work with. The yard/bank leading down to the water was fantastic and a big selling point for us given my parents age and my niece is 8 months pregnant. This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the view from the deck and will be staying here again.

Our family had a great week at Lake Douglas. We rented Clover and Trillium for our families, the grandkids loved running back and forth between the cabins! The cabins are very simple, squeaky clean, equipped with everything you need. I would recommend bringing any specialty items you may need for cooking (ie bundt pan, cookie sheet). The kitchen knives were terrible, as is true of every vacation rental we have ever stayed in and there were no "kid size" unbreakable drinking cups, but otherwise everything was great. Loved the cove and the lake and management was super easy to work with. Would love to stay again, bring more family and take over the cove for a week!!

Had the best time here on our week vacation. Cabin was very cozy and clean. Cleaning ladies that we talked to a few times was very helpful with everything. Especially where to go fishing. Had a nice dock to leave our boat. Had great neighbors on both sides. Next time will be bringing more family alone to enjoy the Beautiful Smokey Mountains. 👍🏻

Absolutely wonderful cabins on the lake and a worry free booking experience! We booked Clover, Trillium, Sweet William, Iris, Lakeside Point, and Jasper`s Dream for a family reunion. All of the cabins were wonderful and especially having the 4 together in the cove was amazing. We received Rock Star service from Lynda and her associates, they never missed a beat to answer question, assist with anything, and make sure everything was wonderful. I cannot wait to visit again and will stay again!

We loved this cute little cabin. Sweet William is a small cute cabin with a beautiful view of Douglas Lake. We have 1 thing to complain about is the bathroom is very small. If you were a heavier set person the shower might be hard to use. Other than the restroom being small I would definitely rent this unit again.

I usually rent a beach house this time of year to celebrate my birthday with friends. This time I decided to rent a lake house instead. I started researching and settled on this one. I found the Smokey Mountain lake agency and Douglas Lake and fell in love with everything about Seventh Heaven,. and when i arrived i found i was right. what a beautiful home. Sitting out on a point with the mountains in the background and lake all around you. total privacy but the neighbors were wonderful. The owners Ray and Carol could not have been nicer. There were no problems but they still checked on you.
Ray arranged a boat ride with a friend for us to tour the lake. Boy, were my friends impressed!
House was beautifully done, well equipped and large enough for all of us. But my love was the porch and that is where i spent my time. An eagle visited regularly and the ducks and geese and so many birds!!!!
I had brought all of this tourist information so my guests could see the area but other than a store run we never left paradise!
It was great that my dog was welcome and that is a definite requirement.
As I said, I found this house through Smokey Mountain Lake and they were wonderful. I am a detail person and they never seemed to tire of my communications and questions. I highly recommend them .
One of my friends left some items there and one call to the owners resolved it and the items are in the mail.
I wish I had imported my pictures so I could share . It is a beautiful place. I hope to see it again someday.

This place is beautiful! It was spacious and clean and the view overlooking Cherokee lake was amazing! Lynda always responded quickly to our emails and calls and even provided us with extra information about the area. We would definitely go back!

This is an amazing company. We had a very bad experience with another rental agency and had to find another rental on a very short notice. I contacted Smoky Mountain Lake and explained a little about the situation. They were so helpful in going out of their way to find us an available rental and had us in it within the hour. It was a bonus that the home was in a PERFECT location on Douglas Lake. The customer service with Smoky Mountain Lake is honestly EXCEPTIONAL! And the response time to any questions I had was amazing as well. Will definitely be booking any future rentals through them!

Stayed at Clover cabin . We had a very quiet relaxing time. Loved the swing on the porch overlooking the lake. We watched the fish ,turtles and birds every morning. The cabin was nice and clean .

Can't beat the scenery of the Smokies and the lake. Great location and the house was very rustic & decorated beautifully! The hosts are top notch too at 7th Heaven!!

Great experience. Great location. Great trip. I took my two boys to the lake and we stayed at Lazy Lake. Perfect setting with privacy, not to mention the benefits of a tram to get up and down to the lake. Will be heading back next year!

I have rented several lake houses with Smoky Mountain Lake directly on Douglas Lake - and have enjoyed every one. Smoky Mountain Lake is my main source for vacation rentals simply because I know booking through Smoky Mountain Lake that I will have the very best vacation possible.
