Mountain Harbor Inn Resort

My husband and I decided to stay at Mountain Harbor Inn for a weekend getaway. The Inn is absolutely beautiful with a view of Douglas Lake. Our suite was very spacious and had everything we needed. We went on the sunset cruise and had an amazing time. We ended the evening with pizza and dessert. The next morning we got up and had a wonderful breakfast. The staff was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on staying again in the future!!

The two ladies working the counter were very invested in making one feel at home away from home. The endless love room was amazing, beautiful moonlight reflecting off the river at night with a gas fire pit to keep you warm. I stayed here for a overnight work trip, but work was the last thing on my mind once i got there, definitely will be back.

I loved staying here! Employees were so kind and helpful. They had a wonderful breakfast and our room was lovely. Walls are a little thin but I've stayed in worse. Would definitely go back to see the excellent view!

Another fantastic stay at this charming resort. The service is very friendly. Every staff member was a complete delight! The housekeeping staff does a fantastic job. The marina staff is great, too - amazing time renting a pontoon boat each time we have stayed. The pizza is great and I absolutely love it when the special is running to get that on the first night and have free sodas while we're staying, etc. The candelight dessert is a HUGE and delicious treat. Breakfast is fantastic. On the first stay here, we stayed in the big Lincoln suite. This time we opted for one of the smaller rooms, the Plantation, and it was super cozy and absolutely fine for the two of us. We had a wonderful time and we will back as soon as we can.

We were doing a driving event and wanted to stay off the highway. Perfect location. Friendly staff and the free breakfast was a plus. We didn’t arrive until after 7 and they put the ovens back on so we had something to eat. Really appreciated that as it’s rather remote. Would recommend.

Our family of 3 did not stay at the hotel but rented a pontoon boat and a paddle board for 4 hours. The front desk service was great and friendly and the price was competitive. The free pizzas and ice cream after the rental is a fantastic perk and hits the spot after 4 hrs on the water. The boat was pre-loved but worked fine. The dock staff was super friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a day at the lake!

The View, the country breakfast & the evening desserts in the beautiful dining room, the fire pit on the huge deck over-looking the water, the boat cruise are all wonderful. Because this hotel is setup with approx 15 to 25 suites makes this a quaint stay. Mtn Harbor Inn is large enough for great service, but small enough you might get to know a few other guests while there. The most unique accomodations we ever experienced. We will return.

We didn't stay at the inn, we just rented boats for a few days. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the boats were great and the whole experience was effortless. The boats were clean and in great condition. We were able to bring our dog on board for a small fee which was not something the other rental places let you do. When you check in for your boat you put in a pizza order which is ready for you when you finish up, they also include soft serve ice cream.

The area itself is amazing. The lake is beautiful and full of little coves and sheltered areas that are great for swimming.

If you're looking for a really fun memorable day this is really hard to beat. My daughter wants to come back to Tennessee just to go boating again.

We rented a pontoon boat for the day on 8/31/23 and it was the best experience ever. They are extremely helpful, nice and provide a well serviced boat for your leisure. We will definitely book through them again and now want to stay at the inn. It’s gorgeous!

My husband and I are in our 20s and came here for our 5 year wedding anniversary. This place is so great. Yes, the rooms are a little dated and we had a few bugs in the room, but we felt everything good about this place made up for it. The view was beautiful, as was the dining room! It was kept very clean, housekeeping was great (and there was a chocolate on your pillow each day). The staff was SO friendly and willing to help. They helped us with anything we needed and made us feel like they were happy to help. The food was great. A pizza the first night there (as a promotion), the HUGE and tasty desserts each night of your stay, and the breakfast was good (the Biscuits and bacon were my favorite). The boat ride was fun, they went a different way the two nights we went, that was nice to shake it up, and the captain answered any questions we had. It was a great way to socialize with the other people there too. We would stay here again if the opportunity came, and it's only 30-40 minutes from Pigeon Forge depending on traffic.

We rented a pontoon boat from their marina for the second time. They never disappoint us! The staff is so very helpful and friendly and the prices are cheaper than other marinas in the area.

We packed a cooler, snacks and sunscreen and were out for 7 hours. Our pontoon even had a potty on board so we could stay out on the lake all day!

We also got complimentary pizza and ice cream at the end of our trip! No one can beat that!

We spent the week in Pigeon Forge (7/22-7/28). We decided to rent a pontoon and do some tubing on this beautiful lake. It was a perfect ending to our week! We rented the 8 passenger fishing barge and a tube. My husband and I were with our 2 adult kids plus our two 15 year olds. We had a blast! It was incredibly relaxing. The water is so very clean and so warm. It was an all around great experience. Plus...they give you free pizza and free ice cream when you get off the water! Highly recommend renting from Douglas Boat Rentals, we will be back!

Our family rented a pontoon boat with a tube. Setting up the rental was easy, the crew on the dock was super helpful and accommodating and even helped us quickly offload our stuff when a storm blew in. The office was then quick to refund the remaining monies left on our time. I didn't think we would need to use the rain policy but it was super nice! We are already planning our next trip and rental! Thank you Harbor Inn!!

Very nice little B and B inn. Rooms were excellent except for the in room coffee. The boat ride and huge desert were awesome. Great views of the lake and mountains.

We rented a pontoon for 5 hours. Very reasonably priced. Beautiful lake and views are just awesome. Received 2 free pizzas and ice cream cones for all members in group. The staff are very helpful and go out if their way to make your experience unforgettable! This was our second time renting a pontoon from this establishment. Would return again.

Wow! We loved this place! Adorable, spectacular lake view, comfy king bed, old world charm! Will definitely be going back. We missed the sunset cruise by 10 min but thoroughly enjoyed the free pizza, dessert & breakfast buffet. This place is a gem! GO!!!

The overall experience for the price was great. Breakfast was good, and the sunset boat ride was perfect. The front office was a little chaotic and disorganized, but it didn't matter much. The rooms were really nice and very clean. Some of the property needs a little work and a little organization.

We rented a pontoon boat for the day, the staff was very friendly and we had a great time on the lake. Great value for the boat, pizza, and icecream. Can't wait to go again next summer.

We rented a pontoon boat and had so much fun went back again the next day. $240 for 3 hours on a 10 seater pontoon and no hidden fees or gas prices added on! Extremely friendly staff! Very easy process! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back, soon. So relaxing and beautiful there. The staff were so sweet and didn't care one bit to give you anything you needed at any time. The boat ride was so nice and the food was really good.
