We booked this hotel thinking we would be in the area. Our plans changed and they graciously refunded our money for the room although the booking said no refunds. This is the kind of facility I want to use when traveling. Their customer service is impeccable.

Beautiful modern hotel with fire place in lobby. The room was spacious and well equipped. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean. Breakfast was lovely with egg sandwiches. Haley was very helpful with the breakfast. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. TV with lots of choices for movies or series. We rate this our best hotel for this trip. Thank you!

Rocky, Cassie, and Sergio are the reason I keep coming back here week after week. Cassie has an amazing ability to make things right and make guests feel at home. Rocky is a top tier bartender and is definitely someone who will keep you coming back. Sergio is an elite maintenance supervisor who fixes issues immediately as well as takes personal interest in making the issue correct. Hotel Artesia is the only hotel to stay in when in town!

The night clerk Manny was very helpful. My wife was trying to extend our stay until the shutdown was done, and even though he didn't know how to deal with long stay rates, he made sure to book it for me, and gave me the hotel managers name and when to call so that she could help me get the best price. Great breakfast, wonderful staff, clean, comfortable beds . Definitely 5 🌟

The management is very accommodating. I had wanted a room with kitchenette and spacious enough for my 2 toddlers to enjoy our month long stay. The manager upgraded our room to a suite without raising the price. I could have not been any happier and so grateful for their kind gesture. The staff are not rude at all, they were all nice and efficient. I usually do not care for the free breakfast, but at this hotel I did because I enjoyed their food. They also have free complimentary washing and just pay $1 for the dryer. The hotel is also kid and pet friendly.

Been meaning to write about this hotel for almost exactly one year! We stayed here while on a road trip through New Mexico. The girl at the front desk was so nice and we got into our room very quickly. I must say the room was spotless and the toiletries was very nice including the little shampoos etc they give you. The towels were plush or so I thought and the bathroom was spotless. The floor we stayed on was quiet and although older decor at the time we time stayed there I found it quite charming! I am hoping that we travel again to New Mexico one day and I will be staying at this hotel when we pass through!!! Excellent stay!

Super cute hotel with a bar in the lobby and an outdoor area for dogs. Employees were helpful and kind. Everything was already prepared for us upon check in. Rooms were nice. Bed was very comfortable. Best sleep I've had in a hotel! Highly recommend this!

Friendly, informative staff. I felt like I was coming home from a vacation instead of just renting a room. Its warm and cosy and very inviting. The outside has something to be desired but you have to go inside the hotel. That's where the magic is. From the deco on the walls to the warm fire place and comfy seating area. Well worth the stay. Thank, you all for the wonderful job you do.

Going to see Carlsbad Caverns but every hotel closer was booked. Several available in Artesia. Stayed at Hotel Artesia and the experience was incredible! The hotel is comparable with big city 4&5 star hotels. Price was less than the average, over priced hotel price in Carlsbad/Whites City. Staff were pleasant, very attentive and accomodating. Had to change rooms and staff gave us upgrade to a suite for same price. Only complaint was no high chair for the breakfast, but that as an easy fix. Well worth the extra drive to stay here. In the future we will drive the extra miles to stay here! Exquisite hotel with a small town feel. Loved it!

What a treat! I spend an inordinate amount of time in hotels in my profession and this was one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at. The price was reasonable for the area, the decor was interesting and fit the southeastern New Mexican area. The Continental breakfast was decent and didn't require me having to go elsewhere to feel fed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are fantastic and feel like they belong in a much higher class of hotel. The WiFi was sufficient and didn't require a splash page login and functioned like a normal WiFi router. The only complaint I have were the beds themselves. They claim these were queen size beds, but they were more like doubles and while much smaller, they weren't as comfy as I had hoped they would be. Perhaps it was simply my room, but I'm hopeful other rooms, and their beds, are better. All in all, however, I highly recommend this place if you want a nice, decently priced hotel in the area. I hope this helps someone.

I travel for work and have lived out of a lot of motel room and this place was by far the best. Super awesome staff and very clean. Even on my birthday that I spent alone they left a cake in my room after they cleaned it! This place is a hidden gem!!

This is such a wonderful place to stay if you find yourself in Artesia, New Mexico. One of the cleanest hotels my family has ever stayed at! Very reasonable prices and Antonio, at the front desk, was super friendly, not to mention quite hilarious.😊. Five star rating for sure!!!

Quaint, upscale, quiet, romantic and decorated in good taste. The Hotel is downtown and it is nice to walk around in the early evening. This beautiful Hotel and surrounding area is a gem with attractive art pieces, statues on the street and warm breezes.

The hotel is privately owned and is a very nice compliment to downtown. It has it's own charm and pleasant personality. This Hotel will make it's mark as a cherished heirloom in Artesia. It is very well done and appointed. You will feel as if you are brought back to a simpler time.

This is a must at least once if in town. If it is a stop over, pamper yourself and stay for similar prices to the names of Corporate motels.

There is a wonderful Italian Restuarant next door.

A restful nights sleep in a refreshing airconitioned room with generous amenities and a complimentary breakfast in the Hotel will be the needed respite for your tomorrow.

The staff are wonderful and welcoming in demeanor; professional in task. It is a stay I will repeat many times in business and personally with family.

beautiful remodel if you like art-deco. We stayed for 2 days and were completely satisfied. Location is great, walking distance from almost everything. Even though the hotel is across from the refinery, its quiet, CLEAN and friendly.
Artesia is a cool lil town and this hotel works perfect.... YES its more expensive than the others but its also brand new and a lot nicer than anything else being offered...(also includes breakfast)
