Lived in many states and cities and Amarillo is just downright nasty as well as its majority of residents. The mayor and her minions have zoning in residential areas yet added more to housing developments. Their problem is after spending millions on a team of lawyers to add yet more restrictions they cannot enforce the current ones in place. Try writing her office or get this mayor to get her management to reply is impossible. Why do all this cities representatives have their religious denominations as part of their bio as part of their duties ? I have no interest in your religion and I find it very strange that this apparently is so important to each individual that they like to advertise the fact. The schools are substandard and yet their local homebuilder who just adds to the overpopulated schools and who are causing major dust problems around the city are the only winners . Of course complain about man made dust and you will come up with ignored replies due to the entire management from the mayor down making millions to turn a blind eye for their bloated budget . House taxation being inflated and services deflated with their new once a week garbage pickup which is now causing more problems with dumpsters stacked high with trash and the high plains wind blowing it all over the city. The mayor is a condescending type yet portrays herself in civil events as a good old girl born and bred. It's a nasty city with absolutely no character and a bunch of bloated politicians doing nothing in regard to make it even slightly more appealing.

Amarillo has never been accountable for there bad decision. They think the people in this community are stupid. The people would like Justice for G7. In any other world putting a pregant dog down when she's in labor would be wrong. But not here in Amarillo Texas. There water smell like bleach. The city will change there ordinances to fit there needs. They hate the homeless. You can't do anything on your own property to make extra money. They will lie. Change there story's. They will Harass. Drive by your home 4 to 8 times a day. The alleys here are nasty. Amarillo is infested with bed bugs and head lice. Alleys are infested with mice and rats. You can go to jail for clapping at a city meeting. No tents even if your kids are having a sleepover. No RV. Plug in to water or electricity. Even if your getting it ready for the road. And no more than two garage sale in a twelve months span. And that ordinances only applys to us. Other homes can have as many as they would like. There's not a lot of opportunities. Not alot to do. We plan on moving very soon. Not my idea of a good town to live in. Oh where getting a 65 million dollar ball field. So much money that could be put to something better. Maybe a water park. Horse racing. Anything but a ball field. Redo the Civic center make it nice so artist would like to come to Amarillo. But I don't even want to be here. Not happy at all.
