I worked here for under 6 months(2016/2017 time frame) and had a company truck assigned and it was slip seat. The shift ran from 12-12 at sometimes ran over a bit and it is the average rate for the area. The Work was consistent.Overall there was very little wait time when delivering to an assigned customer or location which varied day to day.The office personnel was always quick to respond to any pay adjustment or any concern. My hat is off to these ladies in the office and their desire to correct any problem that related to them at this business. The typical pay for me was 700-900 on an average week and sometimes was a little lower depending on the work load and weather.I did like working here and the basic set up was beneficial to time management as it is slip seat. Most of the time I was done before my shift ended and the truck was waiting for the next driver. They do have a suggested(unwritten) rule to call/txt your slip driver when you are in the area and returning to the yard. This was to assure the truck was not sitting and the slip seat method was functional. Now for what I did not like at this company. At first it was okay and I had no complaints to speak of. Then one day my slip driver started making demands that before me ",he started at 9 pm everyday".The shift per office personnel is 12-12 not 9-9 for company drivers. So as this escalated into complaints against me and being cursed out almost daily by my slip seat driver for the last 2 weeks of my tenure here.I addressed this with the office and the yard (Walt)manger as I was told to do by the office. The problem was never addressed or resolved as it should have been.I did request another slip seat truck to avoid this and anything of this nature and was denied numerous times even though 2 trucks sat idle in the yard instead of moving. It came down to a buddy system and who was related to whom.Or at least that is the impression I got before resigning after another "to the side discussion" and why I could not finish loads before my shift ends. But to add,At this point my loads did not start until 5-7 am and I was still expected to finish before noon to avoid another slip seat driver cursing or and/or another office visit reprimand by someones cousin or however. This went on for about 3-5 weeks before I could no longer stand it and had to resign/quit.To the few people that I had to encounter as a daily thing was now something I attempted to avoid almost daily and I ALWAYS finished my dispatches when assigned. My slip seat and one other person went out of there way to start discussions with me regarding other employees or office personnel into the most insulting of ways. Then would go to them and say that I was bad mouthing my coworkers or clients. One was caught and reprimanded by office personnel as I recall. I was then excused from any further discussion on the matter regarding my responsibility. But, that is not the point when it continued for weeks and the verbal cursing became physical threats in the yard while fueling or ending my day. From that point on I had more flats and truck problems during pre-trips and starting my shift than ever. Call in coincidence or nature it really does not matter. I did resign/quit and have made more money since and do not regret doing so.I am not saying this is the company as a whole and do not want to leave you with that impression at it has two locations. But, this particular location has a buddy system and they do stick by it off the record.

At 7:10am on 380 towards Frisch from Denton truck number 1187 failed to stop for emergency vehicles then proceeded to honk and nearly side swipe my car because I was stopped to allow the ambulance and fire response pass me. In the process of making such a show of going around my vehicle the driver drove within inches of the actual wreck that the emergency team was attempting to get to.

There’s no excuse for this type of driving especially in such a large vehicle.

Had an encounter with one of their trucks, and as everyone went to go around him, he got over into the lane of passing cars without using a blinker running them off into the shoulder. Keep the roads safe and don't haul with this company.
