Five Boys Restaurant

Was in the mood for a big country breakfast but we missed the breakfast hour so I ordered the country fried steak. The steak could be just a tad more tender but it didn’t stop me from cleaning up my plate. The mac’n cheese and green beans were on point with flavor and temperature. I would totally do this plate again. Service was great considering the place was very busy. Seems like a popular spot. They offer plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating.

Visited on a Thursday at 6pm. Ambiance is pretty basic but there was ample seating. The waitress helpfully pointed out the most popular items on the menu; we ordered the smoked pork chop (thick cut, excellent) and the bacon Gouda burger (huge and juicy) with home cut fries. We will be back to try breakfast!

My husband and I had searched around for the best place to go eat. This place had some really, really good reviews, so we gave it a shot, and I'm so glad we did!! When we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and welcome. As soon as we sat down, we had a nice lady come and get our drink order. We got the Cheese Fries with House Smoked Brisket, and then I got Bacon Avocado Chicken fajita Tacos, and my husband got the cheeseburger basket with a Baked Potato. My goodness, my tacos were so good, and I actually ate them all, and that's not normal, lol. My husband said his burger was really juicy and the potato was really good. The food came out really fast, and we didn't have to wait long at all. One of the owners came over and spoke with us and made sure we were okay and enjoyed our food. We will definitely be back! Our ticket was also very decently priced! It's hard going out to eat right now with how high prices are.

The food was phenomenal!! Those brisket nachos were the best. I wished I had ordered those instead of the burger that I had although, that bacon burger was also really good with fresh veggies on it. If I'm ever over by the restaurant again, I know where I'll be eating. The only complaint I had was that the kitchen left off a few things that I ordered but it was quickly remedied. The prices aren't over the top and they still give you great-sized portions. My 23-year-old bottomless pit of a son even had to take half of his meal home. The inside is a bit small so it gets pretty loud but, there's a pretty good-sized outdoor patio. The location is in tiny downtown Bridgeport. Had the smoked parmesan pork chop, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and roll. All tasted very good. The waitress was very pleasant and checked on us often. We will definitely be back.

Oh my gosh!! My sister and I had lunch at the restaurant and this was my first time, I loved it and so did my sister!
We had the grilled chicken with vegetable melody and sweet potato fries 😋😋😋

The food is very good. The burgers were done correctly. The add on items were correct. The mac and cheese was fantastic. The onion rings were crispy and fabulous. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend stopping by and having a great meal.

First: Kazin was incredible! Great server! Shout out to her!
Second: brisket pot pie not that great ... BUT everything else was fantastic!
Third: homemade chips, hamburger, fries, onion rings, all absolutely fantastic.

Sat on patio and flies got a little annoying but it was comfy!

You must try the Calf Fries. Really, really good. Served with gravey and some ranch.
The chicken fried chicken breakfast was phenomenal. Best pancakes I've had in a long time.

We are here today and it must be a favorite for the locals because a lot of folks were there for a Wednesday. I ordered the baked potatoes with Brisket and it was delicious ( I could have had the cheese and butter and sour cream but I can’t have dairy) the picture is missing a lot of the toppings. The waitress was friendly and checked on us often. Prices were reasonable. They sell steaks, salads, tacos, burgers. I think if you go you will have a good variety to choose from.
Nothing negative to say about it.

I have to say for the price best chicken fried steak I've ever eaten. Also the Blueberry bacon hamburger was awesome. We'll definitely go back!

Amazing time while visiting from Michigan! The atmosphere gives you such a pleasant feeling. I loved the country vibes it was giving off. The staff is terrific. Our server gave us over the top service. The breaded chicken sandwich is delicious. It came out crispy, flakey, and juicy with exquisite flavor. The homestyle fries were perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. When I come back down to Texas to visit, I am coming back to this place.

Our group of six enjoyed dinner at about 5:20 on the Thursday of the Bridgeport Christmas parade of lights. We were seated immediately and served well by the wait staff. The smoked meatloaf, grilled catfish, beef steak with gravy, chicken fried chicken and all the sides were fantastic comfort food. We will be coming back to try the breakfast menu!

Was good food for a decent price. Chicken fried chicken was good. The staff was very friendly but not as attentive as they should be. Waitress lacked watching drinks be empty for long periods of time.

Wife and I stopped in for a bite at 6pm, Sat night, after the event. Interesting little clean spot, very nice staff, you should be able to find something on their menu, no matter your tastes. I had steak fingers, Mac-n-cheese & onion rings; very good! She had bacon avocado chicken fajita tacos w/fries; also great! Don’t get out this way often, but will be back, if only for the ride and experience.

The mozzarella sticks from the appetizer section are GIGANTIC AND DELISH.

I do not like mac and cheese, but theirs are AMAZING!

The fries are homemade, skinny string type. The chicken fingers are okay. Salads are HUGE! The portions are big and the prices are reasonable.

We sat outside as it was a nice day. Staff was friendly. Do not go if you are in a hurry because this place is so popular you might be waiting a minute. 😊

My family and I had dinner at Five Boys for my birthday dinner. We had the grilled chicken plate, grilled chicken salad and the BBQ sandwich. The food was phenomenal and our waitress, Star was amazing! She was so attentive to all the details! Our glasses were always full and she she surprised me with a dessert! The lava cake dessert was out of this world! We highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Star!!! Great experience and excellent food!

Was visiting all the way from Florida & was recommended to stop by this small mom & pop shop! Food was definitely a good home comfort meal! definitely recommend! Owner, his wife, & staff were absolutely amazing. very attentive, efficient, & great friendly vibes, but make you feel right at home :)
