First State Bank

While the First State Bank was located inside Kroger's is was, as usual, fabulous! I have always had a great relationship with this bank and have indeed considered it MY bank no matter what state I've lived in. Banking with First State was easy and pleasant. The staff have always been pleasant, knowledgeable and eager to assist and I greeted them by their first names because I knew them and they knew me. Now that they have moved to downtown Huntington, however, everything has changed. Petty fees are now the norm. The drive through is secluded, small, and dark even on a sunny day. I hate going in there because I'm always afraid of getting mugged. Staff now gaze at me from behind remote windows and whatever connection I had is now lost. I have become a number, and this number is actively looking for a new bank!
