Aunt Eek's Books and Curiosities

This store is an oasis of color in a beige landscape. Books, antiques, curiosities, local artist, local zines and the owner is a regional treasure. If you are on Route 66/ 6th Street please stop.
Really fair prices and a great selection of books and treasures. There is a little vintage clothing bender in the back as well.

There's so much to explore and appreciate at Aunt Eek's Books and Curiosities. I'm so glad we wandered in and around this treasure trove.

I'm a regular at Aunt Eeks mainly because I'm a bibliomaniac, but there's much more to the place than books. It's a place to browse for a long while and to visit again and again. You can't beat the prices on books at Aunt Eeks. I personally enjoy the fact that after my visit I have several great places to choose from for a great meal. Thumbs up all the way.

Fun friendly store. Tons of cool old books, some vintages clothes and yes, curiosities. And it SMELLS so good! I bought some incense.

This lil' shop is a hidden gem. I had no idea Amarillo even had a place like this. Guess I need to get out more often. They have handmade soaps, candles, & oils. Sage, Palo Santo, Satya Sai Baba incense(variety). The cutest backpacks/purses shaped like a coffin with bat wings. One with Ouji board symbols. So much more. If you are not into that kind of thing, then it is not the place for you. But if so, it is a must-visit 💕

Such a cool little shop. My favorite part is the old books. The whole store is set up really nice, and the workers are amazing. They were friendly and seemed to enjoy any conversation thrown at them. Good prices, great vibe, honestly just loved it!

Plan on spending a lot if time if you stop in... all kinds of stuff to look through and check out. Can't wait to come back with more time to look!

Walked into this amazing bookstore and they were playing the Twin Peaks OST so it was love at first sight. The book collection is solid and there is some really neat vintage clothing.

I waited way too long to go into this store. It is amazing!!! I loved every bit of it and the live performing as well. I recommend this place 1000%. I will most certainly go back and spend lots more time exploring the treasures

Angela is very sweet and I love the way she decorates her space. She is a gem when it comes to antique books and rare oddities. Local store owner and a great choice for Amarillo Route 66!

Cool eclectic book store, vintage clothes and novelties. Owner is easy going and very nice. If you’re looking for new stuff, you’re in the wrong spot. But classic old books, from all genres, art, vinyls records, throw back clothes, a little sage and incense, come on in.

Very unique and a quirky place but it's very fun they have a lot of good items and the owner is so nice I encourage you to go check it out you can probably spend hours in here and still not see it all

In love with this store. I'm sad they close earlier now. I love stopping by with my daughter when she's out of school. Wish there were more stores like it.
