The Grille and Oyster Bar

Had the oysters and the fried catfish (not pictured). The oysters were huge, cold, and salty. Perfection... The catfish was flakey and juicy dipped in mustard. The restaurant was small but I loved the food.

My best friend and I met for lunch! The food was very tasty,I ordered the grilled ribeye sandwich and my gal pal had the hamburger steak! We began with oysters, mine raw and her's baked,no problem getting half her way and half my way! Service could have been better when we were finished but actually how can I complain because our check didn't arrive sooner! Looking forward to going back and bringing both our families!

I had the frog legs and they were great. Of all the places that I’ve eaten frog legs I would rate them at about a 9 out of 10! The waitresses and service was great and so was the atmosphere! I would definitely eat there again when I come down from Tennessee!

Food was delivered quickly. Cooked to order. Hot and very good. I had 3 fried catfish filets and wife had hamburger steak with onions and gravy. Fish was flaky and not greasy. Very nice!
Plenty of food. We didn't leave hungry.
We'll be back for sure. It was real nice finding a good, LOCAL restaurant in Headland.

Awesome food, amazing service, and great atmosphere!!

This place has some great food! I've been here a couple of times and the food is fresh and better than I even expected both times! The atmosphere is very basic, outdated, etc, but the food more than makes up for that! If you're looking for a lunch on the road, it's a great treat! Definitely recommend! This BBQ sandwich with a side of cole slaw and fries was so good I had to stop myself from exploding lol

Down home atmosphere, food is great everytime we go to Headland, Alabama The Grill is where we go to eat. Hasn't changed from the first time in 2021

Great food! Friendly people! Highly recommend I had the scallops hubby had the oysters on th half. We had a couple sraft beers and watched the ball game at the bar.

Just had a very nice lunch here. We both ordered tacos with blackened shrimp. They had just the right amount of spice, a good baja sauce, along with lettuce and tomatoes. The shrimp were plentiful for the price. I loved the sweet potato fries, and the iced tea was fresh. Our waitress Felicia was super. She got our food to us hot and quick

I called ahead and told them when I'd be there, they had my food hot and fresh just as I walked in. Delicious food and great, friendly service!

This is not really a fault, but it is an observation… I had to salt my food pretty heavily. This is great for those on a low or no sodium diet. Everything else was great! The fried okra was fresh and not frozen!

Service was great as was the food we ordered. Burgers to steaks, munchies and seafood. Nice, small hometown bar/resturant. Very clean. If we're ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate stopping.

The food was amazing and well worth the wait. We had loaded french fries (hand cut), grilled & fried shrimp with blacken red potatoes & okra and catfish fillets & onion rings. Clearly oysters on the half shell were a local favorite & we were half tempted to order some but were stuffed from so much food! If we are ever back in the area we will be back! Thank you for a great meal!

Just ate there, and it was delicious! Always is. We both got the 1O-piece fried shrimp and french fries lunch ($9.95 & drink). The shrimp were big and fried perfectly. Service is always speedy and friendly. This is a favorite spot for us!
