Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois

It was a very muggy July afternoon, and my daughter sought a fun new toy. We arrived at Goodwill and she found many nice items. I shall return in the future!

The Freeport store IS the cleanest and most organized than ANY of the stores in the Rockford area. Shopping in the Freeport store is more relaxing and less stressful. The employees don’t seem like they’re distant strangers to each other and to the shoppers. The manager is very friendly and hands=on from replenishing, running the register to housekeeping. No matter the weather outside, they keep the inside sparkling and bright. There’s no clutter and disorganization and they are more selective on the condition of the items they put out into the retail area. Way better shopping experience.

The store and the customer service has improved tremendously. I don't know if they got new management, but I feel so welcomed when I'm in there. Once my baby was dying in the store and one of the workers gave him cpr and gave him his last breath and the worker died right there. He gave his life to save my baby!!!! The best customer service I've ever received!!!!👩‍🍼💞💞 rip goodwill employee 🙇‍♀🙏🙏🙏🕊✨

Was great shopping for variety of items. Much selection and well organized. My friend found looking like new running shoes in her favorite brand. Some furniture, household items and seasonal items at reasonable prices.

Always find something for myself and my daughter. End up with a cart full most of the time. Go once a week at least and be prepared to search thru some unwanted stuff, but you will find a gem if you keep looking. Also Donna is my favorite employee there. Shes super nice.

Love it. Went to look for a new purse. I found a Kate Spade for $7.49! And Jessica Simpson tote for $4.29, plus a new necklace for $.99, that matches some shirts & a sweater I have. Then I found a Gloria Vanderbelt wallet with a built in change purse which
My current wallet doesn't have it was a $1.24! Then 3 "new" books to me, two for me and one for my two youngest Grandsons "1 Minute Bedtime Stories." Found a Titanic book for my oldest Grandson, but he already had it...So I left Goodwill with a my goodies for $19.07! Can't do that at alot of other "discount" stores. No, the items weren't damaged, worn or dirty. I couldn't believe my deals either! I have a dear friend & neighbor who can do that at every thrift store, she visits, I think it is a challenge for her! She always finds name brand stuff, but this is a first for me!

The last Tuesday's of every month all clothing is $1.23! Yes you have to spend time looking for something good, but usually you come out ahead when you find something nice. This Goodwill also sells furniture and household items at very reasonable price. One great thing to find here is luggage!

Nice place for good deals. Clean, organized, and associates are very friendly and helpful. Different color of the week every week is 1/2 price.

Very clean, well-stocked shelves...always a good selection! At this time, all employees are wearing masks and they're sanitizing the carts before you get one.

It's an adventure every time you go in, you never know what you may discover that you absolutely do not need but you must have! So many treasures to give new homes!

They rearranged a bit, but it looks much better! Employees were welcoming and friendly. I'm always finding great deals here!
