absolutely amazing, pulled pork! So I stopped by the local Trefzger’s bakery, and I could smell the meat cooking from there, I went in for a sandwich, but decided to buy a pound of their pulled pork. So, I get pulled pork everywhere we go on vacation and otherwise, and I’m very picky! Let me tell you when I got this food home. This pulled pork is absolutely scrumptious! and the price was definitely reasonable! The guy that waited on me was super nice and does his job very well! Our family will definitely be back for more and we will spread the word to everyone because when you find a place like this, it’s good to let them know how good of a job they done and to tell people so they can enjoy the good food also! Super job everybody on a scale of 1 to 10 you get 100 thank you for the great food

My wife and I love this place! We have purchased the sampler platter twice now and everything is consistent as well as delicious. Met Robbie and he clearly has the passion for what he does. I can say that this is the best BBQ restaurant in central Illinois. I came for the brisket and pork belly, but whatever is in that sausage mix is what’s keeping me here that’s really special. Anyone I know that wants BBQ in this area I will be sending them to Slow Hand.

Slow Hand is by far one of the best BBQ in the area! I have multiple food allergies and I was able to call, find out what was safe for me, and they were knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly helpful. Not every restaurant is like that. We ordered dinner to go, and I am kicking myself for not getting more of their pork belly burnt ends! We devoured them! Sweet, sticky, meaty, just fatty enough, AMAZING! Everything we got from them was amazing, and it’s fantastic to find a local, small business to support. Now if they changed the coleslaw to a vegan option, I would just live there and order daily :)

Best keeps getting better! I’m a regular who moved out of town and always get Slow Hand when I’m in town. I used to always get the same thing: pulled pork by weight but today tried the Kona (patty + pulled pork) Smashburger, and wow!!!!! Awesome mac & cheese, too, as always.

We ordered the sampler so we could try everything, glad we did! Says it feeds 2 people, more like 4 lol. Everything was amazing. I never enjoy Mac n cheese out, but this was top notch! They have really nice sauces, but, you don’t need sauce for their meat!

We were in from out of town Saturday (9-23-2023) & decided to give this place a try.. Nice place, clean, friendly employees & smelled delicious. We had the Brisket Double Smash Burgers & were they were excellent. I smoke a lot of food at home & am usually disappointed with most BBQ restaurants we check out, but we will come back to Slow Hand again because now I want to try everything. Good job!

Food was delicious (due to my diet I can only eat specific meals). Atmosphere was what you could think of a classical American BBQ place, which was a bonus. Will certainly go back to try more things!

Wow! This is some of the very best barbecue that I have had! The brisket is delicious. When I make my way back to Peoria I will make sure to stop here again.

We tried this BBQ place after reading some Yelp reviews. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent. The coffee BBQ sauce had a hint of coffee but tasted great. They have brisket smash burgers. These are also really great tasting. So far, Slow Hand Craft BBQ is my favorite BBQ in Peoria. Wish they'd open one in Bloomington.

Wow! Great service and great food. The brisket was very good and juicy. Loved the cornbread and the cane sugar soda. We will be back. Thanks. Update: they changed the ordering process and I think the cornbread too, we like the old ones better. The meats are still good. The fries were excellent.

This place is fantastic! Came in right at opening, and got a delicious plate of food that fed three of us. It truly feels like you stepping into someone home and getting an authentic bbq lunch. Both myself and my wife loved everything on the plate and the bbq sauces were amazing. A must go!

Food was delicious!! I had the brisket and sausage, both were very good. They have an assorment of bbq sauces, my 2 favorite were the gold and the sweet. Definelty will be back!!

Stopped in for lunch with 3 teenager's. One had a double cheeseburger with fries. The other two shared a two meat platter of brisket/pulled pork, mac & cheese,ff. I had 1/2 rack of spare ribs, baked beans, & ff. We also shared bbq pulled pork fries. The food was amazing. The portions were generous. We came home with leftovers. The service was excellent. We also enjoyed taste testing the different varieties of sauce they have. Good BBQ isn't cheap. This was definitely worth the cost.

We stopped in later afternoon on Saturday for dinner. Ordered the Kona and the Belly & slaw sandwiches. There was a very short wait for our order. The food came out hot and delicious! I couldn’t finish my sandwich, it was so filling, I tried though. Looking forward to eating here again.

We came in for the first time tonight and we're absolutely blown away. The cornbread is the best I've ever had in my life. The brisket was super soft. The potato salad was better than my mother's. Emily made the best margarita my girlfriend has ever had in her life. My daughter liked the food so much she was stealing off our plates. We will absolutely be back again. I've lived in south Texas for over 30 years and this place absolutely blows ours out of the water.

Awesome experience! The BBQ pork and brisket were amazing! Sweet potatoes, banana bread, bread pudding are delicious! And full bar! Wow!

Very good barbecue, can't wait to try more. Pulled pork was excellent without any sauce. I like the sauces but didn't need them. Wife liked the white sauce the best.

The food was absolutely delicious, I’m from Texas and was Skeptical about trying any BBQ out here, but this is the place to go and the margarita Was amazing!!! Emily made them and I haven’t had a good margarita till tonight! The frozen drinks were amazing too definitely gotta give them a try! Over all this place has good food and drinks and amazing staff and they take good care of you, can’t wait to go back soon.
