Ken's Restaurant

First time here. Loved the atmosphere very friendly staff. Our server was awesome right on top of filling drinks and very friendly. The food was very good, we all enjoyed everything we ordered.

Wow. This place is a jewel! The menu is excellent with two sizes of portions so you don't over indulge. The seafood is excellent. Our table ordered fan tail shrimp, clam straps, and octopus. Each dish comes with two sides. The coleslaw is excellent! So we're the onion rings. The place was packed but the service was spot on. Prices ?? They were the real hit. I thought I was ordering off a menu from 2015. And there were no ' mkt prices' either. Everything was priced. I highly recommend Ken's restaurant.

LOVED the food we got here the other day! I had the light fare broiled scallops they had a honey glaze sauce on them that was excellent. My son had the burger, it came on a sub roll which he thought was "the coolest thing ever." He ate the whole thing! so then we had to order him a piece of triple chocolate cake. So delicious. Our waitress was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was too!

I love going to Ken's. The staff there are amazing. Social friendly. The food is always more than enough and the prices are reasonable. Keep up the great work!

I love this place!! The restaurant is clean and service was like eating at your grandparents' house very welcoming and the food was super fast coming out and cooked perfectly! I would've gave them a 5 star but the only thing I would say that they need to change is use bigger plates. The amounth of food you get they give you a baby plate.

I want to say a huge thank you to Ken’s and our waitress Caroline! We did not have to wait long maybe 10 mins to be seated, the food was superb as ALWAYS. We had a large party (13 people) who were gathering to support me after my father passed away. Thank you for giving us a little extra time even though you were closing to take some pictures. I appreciate your kindness and your TIME. I can not recommend this family owned restaurant enough! We are always well taken care of.

My family got takeout from here the other day and had great service provided to us by one of the hostesses there. She was kind and super helpful when we realized we had an item missing from our order. Gabby was more than willing to help us and apologized. We’ve been coming here for years and Gabby had given us even more reason to keep coming back here!

Nice family restaurant. Their menu has a little bit of everything, definitely something for everyones taste. Kid friendly, polite staff, clean environment.

Food was so good we don't go to Skowhegan often but we already knew where we would be having lunch because it left such a lasting impression from our first visit. Kids menu is extensive I saw at least 5 things my pretty picky eater would eat. Adults have alot to choose from too burgers, sandwiches, fish platters, chicken, pasta, steaks they really have something for everyone.

We stopped here while traveling through and I am glad we did! So much food!! We had the clam strips and seafood platter and had so much left over. The soup special was Ham Barley and it was fabulous!

Fantastic fare! My lobster roll had four claws. The pea soup had lots of big pieces of ham. The turkey croquettes were the ultimate comfort food. Yum, yum yum. My best friend and I had dinner one night and went back for lunch the next day. It was that good!

Great place to enjoy simply delicious comfort foods while experiencing excellent, personable service.

I got a light fare of deep fried boneless chicken. It was really nice, ngl. I always get it because I'm basic and boring, but its nice to know they have a comfortable dish on the menu. The atmosphere was nice, and the waitresses are always so kind!! We didn't have to wait long at all, I'd say under 10 minutes and it was packed, lunch rush. Super cool place.

We just finished designing a new website for Ken's and throughout the site they talked about their fried chicken and how good it was. Well having lived quite a ways a way I never had the chance to try it until now. It was truly incredible, hands down the best I ever had... sorry Mom!

We had a sea monster and it's the best. I like that it's a combination of sea food not just one thing. The ice cream puff is also amazing!!!!

My friend & I were in the area & stopped in for a late lunch. We saw the fisherman's platter at another table & decided to get 1 serving of that & split it. It was the best decision of the day. All the seafood was so delicious & we still had some to take home, the seving was so big. There was no wait for a table & the waitress was pleasant & quick.

A huge thanks to Ken's for kindly accommodating my family the other night. We had a memorial service for an aunt in Athens cemetery at 6 pm -- we couldn't do it any earlier because of the cemetery caretaker's schedule -- and at 6:30 I called Ken's to ask if they would accommodate us if we could get there in 20 minutes. They said as long as we arrived by 7, when they close, they would seat us. We were a party of 12, all cousins ranging in age from a baby to several 70-somethings, from Maine, NY, Florida and Colorado. It was so important for us to be able to sit and have a meal together after the service. The folks at Ken's were so so kind and accommodating. They all had to work late because of us but they did it with a smile & gave excellent service. Thanks to all of them!
