Broome Park

I'm certainly very thankful and glad that the city has at least tried to provide the neighborhood children with a spot to run around and burn off some excess energy, but if you aren't from this area, you may want to consider alternatives in a more suburban setting. This park lies in what is currently likely the worst part of Flint nowadays, and that statement should NOT be ignored. The likelihood of a violent crime occurring against, or involuntarily including an innocent and/or defenseless victim is probably 10x more likely to happen to any random person in this area as opposed to other parks, even other parks right here in Flint! This area is by far a safe place to bring your children, especially if you aren't from Flint and haven't been around this environment for years and years already! Stay safe everyone!

Nice park in the city of Flint. Has a playground and soccer fields.

Baseball Diamond Review - Great field. Smooth infield, well maintained. Outfield is deep and relatively flat. Backstop is deep, so extra bases are automatic on passed balls.. Mound is nice. The only oddity at all is that the foul lines in the outfield are permanent - wooden lines comprised of 2x4's sunk level into the ground. Not a deal breaker, just different. Nice tall stands for the fans to watch, and dugouts are sunken. Plenty of space to warm up before the game in the adjacent fields.

Really enjoy playing here. Parking lot is off Hammerberg Road.

Very friendly workers. Nice ball field with lights. Nice restrooms. Bad thing is no coolers or outside food and costs $5.00 to get in.

Great lol park for any age.
Short trails into woods benches to look out over the lake, basket ball court, pavilion, open grass field area, swings and play structure.
Clean restrooms in season.

Really large park that's well maintained, as the grass appears to be cut regularly. Nice play area for kids.

Great for kids and pets to run and have fun. I just wished the city took better care of things. All in all good fun for kiddos

Well kept and clean. Loved having concessions available and a bathroom with running water is always a bonus. 😁

Big fields, lots of playing room for multiple games and activities. Clean playground, could use more trash cans and tables for picnics. Currently has one table.

Broome Park is a very nice facility to watch a Ball game, and the staff is excellent.

Great place to see a movie. Truly Relaxing atmosphere.

A piece of American history. Baseball played like it was invented to be played. Local peole playing America's game.

This.place brings back memories when i played there back in the 70s. Now im wayching my grandkids.
