If you are looking for high quality meats, look no further. This is a well known market in the community, but a hidden gem to outsiders. I love this place, been shopping here for years. Bacon Burger ground beef is amazing. Their cuts of red meats are really good. If in the area, it is definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful small local grocery store with wide variety of freshly made items. We buy all of our meat here, it is the best! Great staff provides great service.

The best meat in town! If you don't see what you want they'll cut it. The new hot food in the the deli makes a great lunch or snack. They have a family store atmosphere where every customer counts!

My cousin, Paul has been going here for his groceries since he was a kid. He sez they are involved with the community and are a great asset for Skowhegan. All I know is that the fruits and baked goods were delicious.

Great store and excellent Butcher Shop and very friendly staff and service. Another satisfying, pleasant visit, never disappointed with this store

Great place to get your groceries when you only need a few things. Their meats are fabulous cuts here as well.

Family biz, friendly staff in deli, in meats and cash out. Few comfort food, pre-made meals for sale too. I trust the meats, especially burger which is made in house, unlike in the chains where they may grind up many critters and mix it altogether. Their bacon burger with 10% bacon ground in is an interesting change up. Pretty good.

I LOVE their meat selection. They have great produce too. They have the perfect shopping center for ALL THINGS COOKOUT/BBQ. Very good meat cuts and friendly butchers.

I have been shopping at George's for many years. I have never had to return a single purchase I have made. The staff is professional and courteous and the products are first class. What more could you ask for. Go see for yourself, you won't regret it.
