Firehouse SmokeJumper Station

We camped nearby and this place was recommended. I would recommend it. A good selection of wines and food. We only had the charcuterie board (see photo) and a couple of bottles of wine. The board was displayed about as attractive as you could expect.

The atmosphere is wonderfully pleasant by the creek.

Brooke was our server. It was just her second day but we wouldn’t have known if she had told us as we talked about the area and things to do.

The patio is the place to relax!! Lawn games and fire trucks to entertain the little ones and fun grownups. Enjoyed hearing the babbling river while relaxing with local beers and wines. Even more charmimg than the city location. (Loved both!!)

Let me start by saying the 3.9 rating made me hesitant to go, but the ratings are way off. It seems that the majority of bad ratings come from bad service, but I think the expectations are too high for this day and age. We arrived and it was busy. We were seated within a few minutes and informed of how the process works. Sat our 2 boys at a table as we went to the LARGE bar for a beer flight and a wine tasting. Service was very good and they even interacted with our 6 and 10 year old well. We had a pretzel which was yummy, but we're mostly here for drinks. The wine is very traditional, but good. Beer is also traditional. I like a little variety, but they make the classics and do a good job. Ambience is nice, get out back to the patio is the weather lets you.

We stayed on the campground in one of the cabins for the night. Beautiful little (but spacious) space, still smells brand new! Bed was very comfy and the shades kept the cabin dark. Loved the personal firepit and picnic table out front of the cabin. The bathroom facilities were very nice for a campground. Very close to Hill City (downtown). We also grabbed a bit to eat and some beer & wine at the Bistro. Cute space. The Chicken in Pants wine & Bogus Jim Spruce Ale were both awesome!! There are other breweries and wineries nearby too to hop around. Highly recommended for an excellent stay in the heart of the Black Hills.

Excellent atmosphere. Great beer and wines. Burgers and grilled cheese good. Carla was great server. Even brought a bottle of wine home!

We loved Firehouse all thanks to our amazing bartender Josh! He was truly personable, had a great sense of humor, and was incredibly attentive to us during our wine tasting. I don’t think I’ve ever had service that was so wonderful and with such a great sense of humor! The wine was great, but the service even better! Very knowledgeable, I would 100% recommend!

Had a fantastic time here. Came for a wine tasting, but ended up making some friends, staying for lunch, joining the wine club, and tasting some in-house brew. Left with a case of wine and 3 quarts of canned Smoke Jumper Coffee Stout. Loved this place!

Small but good menu! Great burger and some good wine and beer. Love the atmosphere as well as it is very low key and our server was awesome. She was taking care of way too many tables due to short staffing but did a phenomenal job. I also forgot my sling there and came back 20 minutes later and they already had it locked up in a safe. 5 stars for many reasons!

Great place to drop by for a glass of wine and some yummy food. Their outdoor seating is very relaxing. Love it!

So we stopped in here because they were still open and they served food. However, we stayed because MIKE, ended up having my new favorite beer that is not in stores yet UGH (Habanero Mango), & properly one of my top 3 burgers ever & I’m the young age of 54. The Smokeburger. This place rocks. Wish we lived closer just for this place. Thanks Mike, for the upsell of the growler, yes more beer, thank you for taking such great care of us & so sorry we did not get to meet your wife..

Service was fast. The outdoor patio was relaxing with the streaming trickling in the back. Definitely a place I would recommend stopping to check out.

We had a very pleasant lunch. Brown beer is excellent. Had the cuban and bison burger. Was very tasty. Service was excellent. Very attentive. Cute spot. Lots of goodies to buy.

We we're hesitant to go at first because of the other negative reviews. But our experience was excellent. We had great service, excellent beer, and the panini sandwich was delicous!

Let me start with our lovely and friendly server, Ella. She provided superior service with a pleasant smile. The food was delicious. All around a 10 plus on our experience.

We really enjoyed the food here! I had the mushroom panini with cucumber salad and my husband had the smoke jumper with French fries. Both were delicious and I would recommend either. We sat out on the patio and it was a really cute and comfortable atmosphere for a warm summer evening.

We loved this place! The outside atmosphere alone was worth it. Sitting at large picnic tables by a babbling brook and drinking a glass of wine or local beer was the perfect end to our vacation. There are old fire trucks on premises that my kids had a blast playing on. The food was a bit pricey but that is true all over right now with inflation and it’s in a tourist destination. Great family spot to sit and relax and let the kids explore the creek and the fire trucks on a nice warm evening. Highly recommend and we will be back for our next trip!

Great beer, friendly service, plus the nachos were very good! Loved the outdoor space!

We had a GREAT experience here the other night. We had dinner and the food was extremely delicious--best out of everything we ate on our vacation. We also complimented our meal with a flight of reds. I preferred these to any others we tried in any other wineries on our trip. Service was great, food was great, highly recommend.
