The chicken is beyond superlatives. The wait staff is in need of more people, but doing the best they can. They are unfailingly polite and do not take time to lean. The place looks like an old town bar, just without the drunks. I have seen many family groups eat here quite happily. Don't be scared by the looks! Go on in. The food is wonderful!

The help was great, the broasted chicken was second to none, stop in and get you some, you will be back. They are getting busier on the weekends order ahead, have a beer while you wait. Very busy today but the chicken was worth the wait..ya'll need to try this place.

This place was hopping Friday lunch! Very nicely decorated! The batter was a little salty for me and the chicken white meat dry but the dark meat was perfect and I know that the two needs cook different lengths and it was still delicious! Very reasonable price! Better than the colonel or Popeyes and the others!

Found this restaurant online as we were passing through the area. Vintage building and small town atmosphere. Have been here twice now and enjoyed it both times. One of the best cheeseburgers around. Most things come with their signature coleslaw which is great!

Great food! The staff was friendly and we had great service too! The dining area was quiet, but the kitchen was busy with pickup orders! Our chicken was hot and cooked perfectly!! We will be back.

The chicken was wonderful. Skin was crunchy and seasoned well. The hot sauce they make in house was delicious. I was so sad to find out they don't bottle it! Over all recommend heading to this place. Sides were all good too!

Best chicken and coleslaw I have ever had. Broasted potatoes are great too! Lots of homemade items on the menu. Signature breading, coleslaw, and sauces to make a few. Have been going here for years. Even when I lived in Nebraska, I would make it a point to stop here and eat when we were visiting family. They have remodeled throughout the years and have got to enjoy a motorized cow that I loved as a kid and now my kids get to enjoy it. The whole family eats their meals. Kid approved! They still have a Pac-Man game I used to play as a kid! I still play it now with my kids. Lol. Excellent service and some of the wait staff is humorous which makes for a great experience. The atmosphere is great.

Have you ever had a burger SO good that you didn't even need sauce?? I did tonight!!
I even ate it cold due to working way later than planned and plain laziness🙈🤣. The burger was loaded with bacon and the fries were fantastic cold! The Brass Rail is famous for their chicken and the special sauce... but this burger... I don't think my picky self will ever want the chicken over the burgers ever again.
100% hoping they stay open! SO GOOD!!

Delicious broiled potatoes, so good with the sour cream. Also make sure to get the onion rings, they are amazing! The chicken is mouth watering, crispy but not tons of breading. Definitely worth a visit!

World Famous Chicken, yes please. We tried the 1/4 chicken and a spicy chicken sandwhich. Both were perfectly cooked and fantastic. The restaurant was clean and service very friendly and fast.

Wings were AWESOME!!! Chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS!! This is a definite stop for GREAT food and fabulous service!

Delicious broasted chicken. My fries were pretty soggy but my husband's tots were great!

Staff was GREAT ! I have never tasted Chicken like this... there were Two cooks that day we went and they rocked getting our food out and might i say that the waitress we got brought out our coleslaw and cottage cheese right away and our drinks too, so we had time to eat that while waiting for our food. Had great broasted chicken, the coleslaw was crisp, and the waffle fries were great, too. Served was prompt and food came quickly.

I have loved going to this place for years! The food is fabulous the staff is wonderful! Best chicken ever! The coleslaw is to die for! The menu has a lot to choose from, however, this is the best place for broasted chicken!

I have been going to the place since I was a little girl and this is my favorite restaurant! Best broasted chicken, broasted potatoes, and cole slaw hands down! There is always a little wait to get your food but it's worth the wait! I suggest going around 4:30 any given evening or during lunch for less of a wait. Very nostalgic place!

The best chicken ever I live in St.Paul and will honestly be coming back had the BLT with WAFFLE fries (yes and they are bomb.com!!!) And 4 peice family dinner with cheese curds and mashy and it hit the spot so much I most definitely be coming back!!! Couldn't take a pic of the BLT it was to good 💯
