Honestly couldn’t be more impressed with this place! We were in the area side by side riding for the weekend and this was our first stop for an early lunch. We ended up loving it so much we went back for a late dinner! The vibe seems to be a mix of locals and riders. The service was great both times. The first time we sat down we looked at the menu and kept commenting how cheap it was (which is a nice change these days). We didn’t know if the quality of food (expecting average deep fried bar food) was why it was so cheap, but it definitely did not end up being the case what so ever! It honestly was better quality food than a few upscale restaurants I’ve been to recently. All in all we had pizza logs, deep fried cheese curds, a burger, wings and loaded fries. Nothing but wonderful things to say about everything! Definitely the best pizza logs I have ever had, and bonus, they make a killer homemade ranch dressing! (Wish they would bottle that and sell it)! Burgers are real beef patties and cooked to your preference. We asked for a take out container for left overs and the server asked if we’d like a regular container or foil and bags since we were on machines. They have literally thought of everything! Thank you Hook & Ladder for great food, great prices, and thoughtful service! If we are ever in the area again, you will be our first stop!

I had the chicken cordon Bleu sandwich with onion rings it was very tasty and the chicken was real chicken breast cut nice and thin the ham was smokey flavored very tasty onion rings were whole slices of onion they tasted home made and came with a container of kens boom boom sauce it had a little heat but not too bad onion rings tasted great dipped in it I would definitely come back given the chance I just happened to be in the area and we were looking for a place to eat and grab a cold Pepsi and we happened to stumble upon this place and we figured all these snowmobilers can't be wrong. I say it was a god choice

The food is hit or miss depending on what you get but it's a hell of a place to grab a drink and have a nice sit down. The atmosphere is amazing and the service is great. Will be coming back

Omg this is just to brag about the wings!
Come here and get the garbage wings!
Coming from a buffaloian, best sauce ever!

Service sucks, I think they hate snowmobilers but that's their business, get used to it.

As someone that's not from around there I happened to stop in by total chance. The food was great. I went for the Fish Fry and it was one of the best I've ever had. Service was excellent and the waitstaff was super friendly... not too mention incredibly beautiful. Definitely recommend

Cant go wrong here! Even on a busy night! We had the Prime rib and a chicken dish. Then our favorite, deep fried cheese curd! Best on the hill!

Been going to this place since I was a kid. It used to be Tug Hill Inn and my first job. I have never had a bad meal there. My favorite foods now is the fried cheese curd, the chicken wings and the fries. So delicious! We love it there!

This is an amazing family owned business and when you go in they treat you like family. Food is always amazing as well as the service. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.
I chose this place to eat over any other place in the area because of the atmosphere and the warm comfortable welcome we always get. They get to know their customers and always remember what you usually drink for the next time you come in.

This is a hidden gem on the Tug Hill Plateau. We love it here. The cheese curds are amazing. I had prime rib that was cooked just right. My wife had a wrap that she really enjoyed. We have to get back and try the bacon sauce wings. Maybe tomorrow for lunch. LOL my son is a big fan of the cheese curds. If your up on the hill this place is a must visit. The staff is awesome as well.

Super friendly local owned business. We had a great time with the bartender and the other folks while having lunch at the bar. If you are into off road adventure the road...trail?...war zone?. Heading in is a hoot on off road vehicles. I'll bet it's smooth as silk during snow season though.

Drinks fairly measured and priced. Friendly atmosphere. Best fried cheese curds around.
