Wonderful store! Great manager and staff, every time I walk in I feel welcomed and in a helpful environment. Staff was very helpful when I couldn’t find something, and even went out of the way to recommend me other things as well. Great community store and perfect for anyone who’s looking for a great hardware community.

Very helpful local hardware store. Excellent supply of those bits to finish your projects... from plumbing fittings to an awesome aisle of screws, nuts, bolts & washers in SAE/Metric, and every size & hardness to complete that task.

Amazing! On several occasions they have helped me not only get the right part but also given me instructions on how to make my repairs. They are always pleasant and help load my car. They are a must have for new home owners and remain a small town gem in a big box world. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. They often ask what I am looking for and go hunt retrieve it for me. Not a wanderlust shopping place like a "big box," so shopping experience will be optimized if you go in with a plan. Had the experience at a "big box" of not having help available for finding a very specific hardware piece. Hector's shines in this arena.

Like the small community store. They always have what I need and willing to help if I'm at a loss. Just got my snowblower back after 2 days & they repaired what I ask them to check out....nothing more. Very satisfied with the work even tho I don't need a lot of small engine work but always willing to shop there for most anything.

Great neighborhood alternative to corporate chains. Always friendly and knowledgeable, provides a great deal of services and products for size of store. Highly recommend for small quick home improvement projects.

Wonderful local hardware chain, that has been a staple of the WNY community for decades. Not sure Where the guy below shops during this pandemic, but there are no local hardware stores I’m aware of, that are giving away free masks or hand sanitizer. Shameful that someone would down talk an essential local business, doing its absolute best, during this fragile time, because they “expect” free stuff. Hector’s has been attentive, efficient, and on top of all social distancing and infection control measures when I go in. They have A fantastic selection, and I can’t say enough about the staff, who are knowledgeable, attentive, and always willing to help. The owner makes a point of addressing almost every customer, and he’s able to special order any item that you need, if the store doesn’t stock that specific item. You definitely don’t get that type of service at big box hardware stores. I hope Hector’s continues to thrive throughout the years, as this true “mom and pop” style hardware store is exactly what the community needs more of!

Helpful advice, they have a good selection of tools, and offered to order the piece that I needed! Will choose the local guys over Lowe or HDepo any day.

Helpful, attentive people, friendly and respectful. A local place for supplies and advice too. Nice to go to a place where you can browse and breathe, not like the big places which really don't have time or talent to care about a customer.
