Xcaret Mexican Restaurant, Tiffin

A cheery fun Mexican Restaurant. I always get great service and great food here. We had the Beef Barbacoa Verde, Chicken Chops, Chicken enchilada, Fish Tacos and Ohio State Burrito. Everyone cleaned their plates! They have great salsa and Margharittas too. Highly recommended.

Just found this restaurant in the old Tiffin mall recently and I'm glad I stopped in! Excellent food and huge portions for the prices! The menu is very reasonably priced and the high booths in the restaurant allow for a more private and secluded dining experience. Service was really friendly but I felt we were being rushed just a little, but not enough to bother me. I ordered the "special dinner" and for $12 you get two plates of food! My fiancee ordered the flautas and really enjoyed that as well. This is definitely a restaurant I'd revisit when I'm in the area!

I have been to Xcaret many many times over the years, but especially this year with my friends moving here! We loved to slide in a booth and indulge in authentic cuisine, while we make memories of just being together! the staff is always so accommodating and genuine!! it's some of my favorite food this side of the Ohio River!! I highly recommend their beef chimichangas!! their chips and salsa are superb, as well as their queso! I will always associate this place with wholesome memories!!

The food here is nothing short of outstanding!
I highly recommend the Michigan State burrito! Grilled chicken and steak in a burrito, covered in queso cheese and topped with 5 grilled shrimp!
I got mine without the hot sauce, and it's the best burrito I've ever had!

Great food, excellent staff, and reasonable prices. My favorite dish is probably the Xcaret Rice, but I usually end up getting the chicken enchiladas. I tried the fish street tacos tonight, and those were great too. Overall, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal or a bad experience here. It’s an excellent restaurant.

We went for lunch and it was well worth it! The food and service was excellent! We'll definitely go again!

The food here was amazing. My husband always get burritos supremes from any Mexican restaurant we go to, he loves how it came with 5 burritos, most places only come with 4. The cheese was one of the best cheese burritos we have ever had, they used good chicken with no gristle in it, and the beef one actually had flavor, most places we go to they only use salt and pepper, not here they season it for taste. My food was amazing! It came out still hot! Most mexican restaurant u get either refried beans and rice, or lettuce and tomatoes, not here, they give you both!! The chips and salsa they start you with has good flavor and with chunks of peppers and onions in it. The service was very friendly and fast, but she did not hovor that was nice. So over all we will be returning here.

They have an amazing staff the food was great they had amazing every thing over all its an amazing place.

Absolutely love this authentic Mexican restaurant food & atmosphere. Family owned and operated. I appreciate the professional service & terrific hospitality of the owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. They are not a chain restaurant. Which in my opinion gives the Best Quality no matter the day I dine in or order carry out.
There is also a very high level towards a "Clean Restaurant", in all areas that I have witnessed.
The food is top notch in my opinion.
Customer service is extremely prompt if I have ever needed anything.
I highly recommend this restaurant for a night out of wonderful food or a cozy night in.
They are also open for lunch and have "daily specials".
And in my opinion the prices cannot be beat for everything this restaurant provides.

It was a very unique experience. Was worried at first, because one person had a very awful experience there and told me they would never go again. While another says just the opposite. The food was great. It only makes me wonder when they walked past with a sizzling tray of food, that smelled good also, could have been..

So glad we decided to stop for lunch. Food was so good we ate too much... rounded off by the best flan we have ever had.

Food was awsome and the people were kind. Tried the Birria tacos and that ar so freaking good dude! Highly recomend!

The young server boy was so sweet and so grateful of the tip we left him we wish him all the best in his new career!!

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place, the food and service is great. Everyone is so nice. We go pretty often and never had any problems or complaints.

Our table of eight was seated quickly. The chips and salsa were served immediately. The menu has a wide variety. My fajitas were served sizzling hot and the portion very generous. My wife loved her taco bowl, and the pork carnitas looked amazing. The owners have been in the restaurant business for decades, and their experience reveals itself in quality and efficiency. Give Xcaret a visit when you are in Tiffin.
